Hello Dan and Art,

Thank you both for the kind words, much appreciated I assure you!

Too bad I missed you both at Dan Cragin's reopening, it would have been super cool to see you too but hopefully you will see more of me soon.

Dan, you know I really miss the track days, they were so much fun and made me feel young again for too short a time...I hope to be able to rejoin track activities one more time, God and health willing.

All the best,

Vypr Phil

Huge thanks to Bruce C. who invited me to join him for this great event!

Lance, many thanks also for your kind words and great pictures, much appreciated I assure you!

After talking me into this, Bruce picked me up, drove me to the event and dropped me back off at my home.  My doctors have not cleared me yet to drive; this was the first time outside my home since I left the hospital after my stroke. Thanks also to everybody, you all made me feel so welcome and happy to see me; the pleasure really was mine as well!

It was very, very special for me to see so many old friends and make new ones too.

There isn't a better Car Club than the SoCal Viper Club anywhere...bar none and I am truly blessed to be part of it even during non-Viper ownership times!

Sad time for SoCal Viper Club.

We lost a dear friend, a great car guy and a most dedicated and ethical vendor, technical advisor and really one of the "Anchors" of the Viper Club.

OGO is now "Member-at-Large", proudly representing the Viper community on the big track in the Sky.

Thoughts and prayers go to Arlene and the rest of the family.

R.I.P. OGO

Lance, thank you so much for the new page on your site, honoring Dave's cheerful personality with such artistic flair; as Dan said, brings back some memories of many great times spent with Dave.

Hey Dave,

Thanks for the Ring pictures, they sure bring back a few memories!

Have a great time out there, maybe you should stay until Oktoberfest (which is celebrated in September) and "fully immerse yourself" in the German experience.

200 Km/h seems to be about average speed on some autobahn stretches, doesn't it?

It gets real fun when you are barreling down at 300 Km/h and passing cars going 120-130 km/h, you just HOPE they stay in their lanes, which by the way are much narrower than our US Interstates.

Thanks for posting these great pictures Lance!

And the red Porsche doesn't need buffing out at all! Just needs alignment: align the suspension, align the body panels...

Are you getting ready for your big trip?

That's a nice looking bike !
Does it come with training wheels ?

Hey Lance,

No training wheels, no roll bar, no airbags, no reverse!

For my first ride, training wheels are a nice theoretical thought since this thing weighs just under 900 pounds dry.  =6

I think you need to join us @ the Duke's run for BD desert! There's lots of it there  >q

Skip the bike... It's gotta be Viper Time by now  >w

Hey Kala,

Already have a commitment for this week-end up in wine country.

Up there, cruising on a bike could be a lot of fun.

Hey Phil,

39 again?  Me too in September.

Any chance you'll join us at Fontana in June?

Should be fun - running the infield track.

Dan  <2

Hey Dan,
I know we are the same age, or have we just become ageless classics?  =27

No plans yet for Fontana, but I guess it could be fun to come over and check it out.

Thanks Art!

You see, at my age cake does the body too much good!   >1

Then this "Goodness" stays with you and becomes an "Inconvenient Truth" when you analyze the power to weight ratio.   =6

Thinking of getting this for fun in the near future:

Glenn and Steph that is a sad story but glad it ended out ok for you. I was told by a manager at Dodge that for every 100 vipers sold 18 get wrecked on the way home most of the damage is right rear he said. I do not know how true it is but I can see it happening. You have a very nice garage, and you are right about Karma it works. See you at the Ventura run.

                                                                                                 Eddie

Skip Thomas, Viper Days founder and head honcho told us during class room instruction that 1 out of 6 Vipers ends up totaled per insurance industry statistics...

Hey Stephanie and Glenn,

Will you take both cars out for the Ventura Run?

How will you decide who drives which car?

Lance,

This must be some valve stem cover...
