5pm-8pm------ Showing up early is key! I plan to show up around 3-3:30, for all us pre-registering they would like us to be there by 3:30. I have arranged for us to be upfront so it's ideal for them to know how many vipers will show and for us to be on time.
I would like for us to do a pre-group meet at the Olive Garden in La Mesa (back part of parking lot) somewhat across the street from carl burger dodge. (Contact me for more info and details, as well as to confirm your attendance)

This will be the 5th annual Carl Burger Car Show.
I went last year and had a really great time. I found out about it last minute last year and I think were were still able to pull out 5 or 6 Vipers. Lets make this year even better!!!

There are 10 prime spots up front they can hold for us but I will need to know asap who can make it so I can arrange it with them. I am in contact with the guy hosting the event and I have already giving him the heads up about talking with the club and see who would like to show up.

On a side note: There are spots near by where there 10 prime spots are where overflow of Vipers can go. From my understanding we need to meet and show up together all around the same time so they can group us together the best they can.

So a few weeks back me and my dad went out and rented the new 2013 SRT Viper from hertz.
We are talking about purchasing the new Gen 5 viper in the future and wanted to see what they were all about before we drop the coin to actually purchase one. I must say this is a must do for anyone possibly thinking about purchasing one or even if you just want to check it out and see what it is all about.

Wanted to see if anyone on here can commet about these tires and how they do on a Viper.

I mostly see people taking about the PS2's and the Super Sports.

Kinda woundering why no1 has the nitto nt05r on their viper.
Any input would be much appreciated.

Well some of you may or may not know that ive been looking for a white Convertible Viper off and on. Kinda been tossing the idea around back in forth. Mostly looking for a Gen 3, But all the White ones ive seen have been the Mamba Edition. And i Personally don't like the red interior on them. But I figured i didn't really have a choice and kinda either had to deal with it and live with it or just have it re-done. So every week or so I would get on Auto trader or CL or whatever and do a general search for a convertible gen 3 and 4 viper to see what was out there. I was coming up on my usual weekly routine and kinda had a feeling something was out there. So i decided to wait a few days because i was pretty busy with work and didn't want to find something and then be so excited and not really be able to focus at work because of what i found lol. So the weekend finally came and i was doing my usual search, and what do i see... A new white Viper listing for sale... I was very excited, opened up the listing and started looking... got to the pics and saw the interior didn't have the red interior. BIG plus! never knew they made a white viper without the red interior that was a gen 3. I started looking and reading more... Saw it had barely any miles on it! not even 3k miles! BIG BIG plus! Saw the price... was a bit more than i was looking to pay... But figured what the heck ill give it a try anyways.... called the dealership, asked lots of questions about the car. sounds like something i wanted to buy. So long story short the car was in Flordia, im in so-cal obviously so the car would need to be shipped. I started the negotiating, they knew i was in san diego and i would have to cover the shipping, told them if we can agree on a price thats in my budget ill take the car. I had the number in the back of my mind what i wanted to spend shipped on it. They came back with a price that was spot on with what i was looking to spend.
So now we got all the details squared away and the car is now on its way to its new home in San Diego. Car was originally a CA car til last year went to a dealership in FL and now is coming back to CALI! <L

Funny thing is the car is white with blue stripes and my current viper is blue with white stripes.

Anyways thought i'd share this with my local so-cal viper peep's.

Well had a chance to finally get out and get some nice pics of the Viper.
Here a lil info about me and whatnot...

Name is Derek Short.
Im new to the Viper Club. Ive always loved Vipers since i was a little kid. Im now 26 and my dream of owning a Viper has finally came true! Ive been looking off and on for 2 years i'd say. And about 6 months ago I came across one that i just fell in love with. Everything about it was just what i was looking for. The Color, the performance mods, the mileage, the price, and it was somewhat local! only 3 hrs up the road 1 way. not bad at all. Anyways long story short went up check it all out like it so made arrangements to pick it up the following week

Now here is a cool little story prior to me owning my first Viper. I was probably 22 give or take at the time and the church i was attending one of the guys that went there had a friend that happen to own a 00' Viper GTS. I got to talking to the guy and told him how i love Vipers and how they are my dream car yada yada.... when i was done talking with him i jokingly / hopeingly lol if thats even a word. said, "hey if you every want to let me drive it that would be awesome!" Then later on that night before he left he called me over and said "hey next time i bring the Viper Ill let you drive it!" I was just in awww.... but was super excited! Now long story short took a few months before i actually got to drive it but from then on he would let me take it on the weekends, i would detail it for him, change the oil, basic maintenance and whatnot and he would let me drive it. Mind you i was only 22ish at the time. I mean what kinda person just gives the keys to a Viper to a 22 year old kid? Well from that point on i was really sold and could not wait to own my own Viper. I would remember on sunday night having to take the viper back home and wishing it could stay with me in the garage lol.

Well i was planning on purchasing that Viper but a year or 2 later he posted it for sale and at that time i was not financially ready to purchase a Viper so i had to let it go.... But on the bright side it kinda worked out. Because i now own my dream car! A Blue with White Stripes SuperCharged Viper GTS!

Hope you all enjoyed my little story. I still have to pinch myself every once in a while just to make sure its real and im not dreaming lol

Ive upgraded the brakes on my Gen2 to the Brembro BBK and no longer need my original brakes.

The brakes are pretty much brand new ONLY 3-4k street miles on the brakes.

Comes with both front viper calipers (16k miles on the calipers), 4 brake rotors (3-4k miles on rotors), 2 front, and 2 rear, also will come with 2 brake lines.

Asking $600 plus shipping.
