Dave C. has given me the green light for a tech day.

Date: This Sunday, June 8th
Time: 10 am - 2:00
Place: Electronic Balancing Co.
         660 east D street
         Wilmington   CA  90744

Subject:
E-brake cable relocation on 2003 - 2006   SRT-10's
For those wishing to run 18" wheels in the rear (i.e. track wheels) the E-brake cable needs to be moved in order to accommodate the smaller wheel diameter.

We will be doing the mod to Art's famous orange SRT-10.

Dan Everts will also be on hand to supervise and give pointers.

While this is specific to the Gen 3 vipers, ALL vipers are welcome to attend.
Lot's of secure parking, lunch and drinks will be provided.

Dave will be bringing some of the brackets up with him and will be offering them to those who attend for a special price of $75.00   (normally $100.00)

Please respond here if you are planning on attending.

Thanks,
Lance

Hey Guys,

This minor change will not adversely affect your E-brake operation.  It will function as it does now after this minor mod.  I have done it to both of my SRT-10s.

E-brake relocation will allow you to run sticky tires or drag radials for those times you want to drag, road race or autocross your car.  Don't let the Corvette guys beat up on you.  The ability to run 18-inch rear tires gives you a much better (and less expensive) selection of tires too.

Combine this with a car lowering suspension like Motons or Penskes and you will feel how much better your car handles the "twisties".

Hope to see a few folks there.

PS  Watch out fast Eddie, Art's gonna get you!

OGO  O ,

Cool, bring it.

Got an old set of valve covers coming for my GTS.  Kevin is supplying the breathers for each.  Should help with the oil puking under heavy braking.

Pulled 1.35 G's at Buttonwillow last time in several turns.  Not bad for Toyos and a rookie driver.
