Big Bear Run & Lunch
This run to Big Bear is a lot of fun and worth the trip! We'll approach the mountain from the east and snake our way up the back way. This makes for a better run with less traffic.
This year we're having lunch at Evergreen International Restaurant. (http://www.evergreenrestaurant.com/) The restaurant overlooks the lake, they're going to block off parking for us and the menu looks quite tasty! ^2
Our final meeting place before we head up the hill will be The Home Depot parking lot. There is a 7-Eleven with gas here if needed plus snacks, coffee, etc...
Pick the meeting place that best suits you and your schedule.

Anyone intersted in meeting at Flo's at the Chino airport say about 8:00 AM for breakfast before heading out to the meeting point for the Big Bear Run? Best sausage and biscuits in the West. Good photo shot opportunity also. PCH VIPER, I'll cover your breakfast, but no SUVs!

Viper X, any chance we get the outside dining?
Run Vistas are free!
Count Joyce and me in. Since we live on the west side we'll plan on meeting up with everyone at the Riverside rendezvous. If any west siders are interested in hooking up for the drive to Riverside please let me know.
Joyce and I are also planning on staying Saturday night at the Northwoods and driving home Sunday afternoon. Is anyone else staying the night?

We've had outside seating in the past - the member's that didn't get to sit under an umbrella were hot and uncomfortable. As this restaurant doesn't have umbrellas and they do have windows all around their restaurant, we've requested inside seating for the group. =19
Please add Ruth and Nino to the list.
We are sorry we were not able to make the Mt. Wilson run, Ruth was in the hospital getting some tests.

I'll meet you for Biscuits and Gravy.
I'm not going to be able to stay for lunch. I need to be home no later than 1:00 as my Boo has a performance that day. Don't want to miss that.

Inside sounds good!
Would it be ok for some friends of ours to join us in non-vipers?? They have corvettes and major Viper ENVY.
Does anyone know what the pricing is at the restaurant?
Hi Robert,
Not to be rude to Vette guys, but this is a VIPER run. If you're buddies would like to go on a Viper run, have them trade in their Corvettes and get Vipers - just like we did <11
As for restaurant pricing: Burgers are $8.50, club sandwich $10.95 - most menu items are under $12 >q
Fair enough. thought it never hurts to ask =27
We wouldn't want anybody stranded, it's for their safety.

It is ok if they come in one of my vipers though right?
PCH VIPER,
Getting close to 4K on the odomoter, that is twice the pace of the yellow GTS, I don't think I can dirve the SSG for at least two years? May I'll bring my SUV or Mini? Can't believe there are that many miles on it so far. =16

seriously, I can do that? Need Bank of Hawai'i funding!
This weeks AW magazine ahs a paragraph that Chrysler believes the Viper is a profit maker and will continue production, 25K vipers have been made since 1992. That 2010 ACR-X is looking pretty nice, perhaps one is destined for PCH VIPER's living room?
I'm saving up for the 2012 ! >j

<B OK, guys, a little help here! I can't always trace down your real "name" from the name you post as in the forum. I have been digging through old info trying to piece together this thing. And your profiles don't always contain the info I need as some don't have first names to help me along! For just a couple events, could you please end your post with your name so I can add you to the list without creating new "girlfriends" who don't exist, etc??? >1
I apologize for the mess ups here. Next time it'll be right! Have a great time on the Big Bear Run. Paul & I can't make this one.

You guys are tough on the Bike riders!
I just came back from a ride around the Grand Canyon on my BMW R1200GS. This bike is perfect for long distance and even the occasional dirt (fire) road.
Did 1400 miles in 4 days. Parker, Sedona, Flagstaff, Paige, Zion, Vegas, Death Valley and back to LA.
As for Big Bear, I know all the fire roads in and out, but this Saturday I will follow you guys on the pavement.
OK Doc, What time at the gas station, 405 @ SM Blvd O>
Hey Rolf >6 And a good time was had by all ! joel
Hey folks, I'm not going to make this run, I'm banking all my "field trip" hours for Barrett Jackson later in the month.
