I'm taking my time learning how to drive this monster, and I'm having a blast.  With all the recent rain, I've got her out for only the third time today.

Here's to a LONG summer with NO rain ;)

I plan to be as active as life allows me to, and I plan to to go the next DC Dyno Day.

See everyone soon!

Welcome back Zach <1

You should come out to the Ventura Run on Saturday, that will give you plenty of miles to practice driving that mean Viper.

Hey Zack,

Come on out on Saturday and bring your new toy.

Check the Ventura run details under events for all Viper owners.

Glad to see that you finally got your car.

Welcome Zack,

Sounds like an awesome ride, can't wait to see it. My car is starting to feel like it needs more horses now.

Hey Dan, this beast may give your black car a run for your money! That's a drag race I'd like to see!

See ya,

Ben

2018 Hellcat Challenger, Indigo Blue

Hey Ben,

Yeah, the twin turbo cars pull very hard.

Difficult to make them stick though and challenging to drive.

Impossible to smog in CA - that's why I went Paxton.

Dan

Banzai Ben

How do you guys pass smog with all those mods? My car feels slow so I'm wondering what I can do to make more power but still be able to pass smog. I'm only putting out a little over 400 hp at the wheels.
Thanks,
Ben

Hey Ben,
You can have 150 hp from my car.  I'm too chicken to use it !    HappyBounce
But after a few more Viper Day events I'll want it back.

Hey Ben,

You can add ported / polished heads, roller rockers and a 708 cam and still pass smog provided you have good cats.  Talk to DC.

My GTS passes smog (legitimately) with this set up.  My GTS makes only 500 rwhp / 525 rwtq but this has been plenty for the track.  I can actually pull on the new 2008 600 hp "stock" cars in the straights.  I have more power "under the curve" than they do, just not more peak hp.  They'd probably get me with a few mods, but it would be close.

Hey Zack,

Cathy and I will likely be at Cars and Coffee on Saturday morning from about 8:00 AM on if you're around and want to talk (and see) Vipers, come by and check out the car show.

If your car comes in early, bring it out to play!  If not, maybe we'll get a look at it next weekend.
