A heads up for you, direct from VCA...

VOI invitations will be going in the mail late next week and should
arrive sometime between the 27th of February and the 6th of March.
Dues paid members will receive this advanced notice a
couple weeks before it is opened to all Viper Owners. The last VOI in
Vegas sold out and many on the waiting list were not able to attend.

Vegas is a great location for a VOI. Great NHRA style drag strip,
Fantastic Oval high speed action, and a challenging inner track to test
your skills. Professional instructors will be available to show you the
racing line, and give you tips to reduce your lap times. The Venetian
is a first class hotel, and promises to light up the eyes of the
ladies. Imagine a canal with beautiful gondolas to ride, as well as
live entertainment in San Marcos square. We expect a visually stunning
ride through the painted desert with fantastic scenery and wide open
highways. (Watch you speed though as enforcement may vary).

VOI organizers have arranged for extra hotel and track spaces, as they
expect a larger than normal turnout for this event. Vegas is within
driving distance from Texas, Phoenix, Pacific Northwest, San Francisco,
Sacramento, Colorado. We expect lots to drive in, while East coasters
will probably take advantage of the special rates from Reliable
transport. Should even see some of the ViperDays gang trailering their
race cars in those comfortable long distance motor homes. I have heard
rumblings of many convoys being organized to make a two day drive form
Chicago/Michigan area, Atlanta and Central states.

Plan to save some of your gambling money to spend in the Vendors Forum.
All the top tuners are expected, A Viper specific Mopar store, and lots
of items available nowhere else on the Planet.

Remember, the dates for VOI are September 25-28 at the Venetian Hotel
in Las Vegas - more information on the hotel is available at
www.venetian.com.

I expect this to be a VOI to remember. Lots of DC big wigs expected to
be on hand to get feedback and answer questions on all issues other
than future products. They usually come up with something, and maybe
drop a bombshell or two. Bring your cameras.

SSSsssincerely,
ZD Paul

I have already registered for VOI 9 and made room reservations at the Venetian.
I heard rumors that the SoCal Vipers were planning on caravaning out on Sat. the 23rd.
Is this true?  I made hotel reservations for the 23rd so I am definitely leaving on Sat.

There is a caravan being formed, but I'm not sure if it will be leaving on Saturday or Sunday.  If it leaves on Sunday, you can still join in, you just have to change the reservation at the Venetian.

I registered for the VOI9 but there weren't exact dates on the web site or I forgot where I put them.  Any know the exact start and end dates of VOI9 and any other particulars in between that would be helpful?  Never been to a VOI before, so not sure what to expect.

Hey Hemotox,

You can find all of the details at www.voi9.com that went live on Friday.  This will be my first VOI too!  I can't wait!

Will you be joining the caravan leaving on Saturday, the 23rd?

hemotox

I think I will be able to caravan on Sunday the 24th, VOI9 starts Monday the 25- Friday AM, the 29th of September. An extra Saturday night in Vegas before the week is probably something I don't need.

VOI9 registration is now available online at http://www.voi9.com
Don't Forget to renew your membership if you want to go to VOI9 Las Vegas. FYI we will be caravaning to Las Vegas on Saturday Sept. 23, 2006 at 9:00am from Ontario Mills at Dave & Busters off 15 Frwy. There is a president's meeting on Sunday that we have to attend. This is why we are caravaning on Saturday instead. Thanks
