I'm thinking Ruby' @ Carlsbad, it could be right after Carlsbad Exotic, which is the last Sat of every month 7-9AM. That would be a 2forer

Mimi's, on Mera Mesa Blvd, right off the 15, 1 block West. Have to ck on parking ?

Last is Richie Diner in Temecula, which we've all been to.

Best idea, is to do all 3, every other month, do the next one.

SD Vipers

There are two decent "Vipering" roads in Orange County.

1.  Cook's Corner - We could start at Mimi's on 17th.  Then go East on 17th, north on Newport Blvd and right on Santiago Canyon.  Or could start at Chapman and 55 and go East on Chapman (not a very interesting Drive until you get to Newport Blvd.

2.  Orega Hwy - We could start at a breakfast place in San Juan Capistrano at Ortega and Route 5.  Then go East to the lookout .... maybe down to Elsinor for lunch (?) and then home.

The nice thing about Mimi's as a starting point, is that it is close to the intersection of many freeways .... 55, 5, 22 and 91.

From there we could still go to Ortega on certain days or just back towards Cook's.

I like that idea, may work great for you in SD County.  It is easily doable, just as long as everyone knows the SD venues rotate and they check the web site.

I may even get up early enough to hang with the SD Vipers!  (That is asking a lot, but I would be up for it).  Dave,  does the Baronna Valley Casino or Pala Casino sound like an additional option?

Yours also sounds great.  I like the Mimi's on 17th.  This is starting to look good.  We need Sherrie and Tony to sound in and provide so list or leg work for us to do to get this going.  I was thinking of asking Joel Larson to help out on the West Side - LA for the Malibu 2nd Saturday of the month club.

We have to work for a living!! Thank you very much! This is Great! What do you need me for. Lets finalize meeting places and then we can post it as regular on going viper stops. Just incase a viper member wakes up on a Saturday morning and decides they want to get together. Orange County sounds great lets mark that one in gold stone. Riverside is perfect lets keep that one also. SD lets keep Carlsbad for now and then later Dave can change things if he wants. Everything looks good and I can add a new spot under events just for regular meetings and locations. Let me know what you want to call it. You guys did a great job and all I had to do is type. If we start it up in October we can talk it up again through the web site and also at VOI9 in Vegas.  Sherrie, can you send my a PM with contacts to Joel Larson and anyone else on the LA West Side-Malibu-Ventura-San Fernando-Westlake that I can PM or contact for the Malibu meeting event?

I think we can really make this happen if we start it in October and discuss at SOCALVIPER meeting in Vegas.

Thanks for all the input, even thanks to racecars!  Dave, add the Hooters restaruant to your eventual rotating Sat Monthly San Diego event venues and you'll get about a 98 % club turnout!    8)

I just added the mapquest link to Ruby's Diner in Carlsbad, Ca under the San Diego Vipers location on the original post.  Looks good, thanks Dave, for the suggestion. 

We should talk this up now that we have the four major regions represented and specific calendar weeks selected.  I, for one, plan on a visit to each venue over the coming months once this gets rolling, even San Diego is looking good.
