TEMECULA ---- Two people were injured Wednesday night when a suspected drunken driver crashed into a garage at a condominium complex, police said.
Christopher Marion, 28, of Temecula was speeding in a 1994 Dodge Viper around 11 p.m. when he crashed in the 31100 block of Strawberry Tree Lane, according to a news release prepared by Temecula police Sgt. John Magnan.
Magnan said Marion lost control of the vehicle and struck a garage door.
Marion was not wearing his seat belt and sustained major injuries, Magnan said. A passenger also was injured.
Both were treated at a local hospital. The nature of their injuries were not reported by police.
The road, which is near Pala Community Park in southern Temecula, was closed for more than five hours while members of the Temecula Police Department's Traffic Collision Reconstruction Team conducted their investigation.
