WILLOW SPRINGS with SPEED VENTURES; October 8 & 9

Hey Sidewinders,

Speed Ventures will be running the big track at Willow Springs October 8 & 9, 2011.

They will have their usual number of run groups including Beginner, Intermediate, High Intermediate and Advanced.

This would be a good warm up for the West Coast Racing event scheduled for Oct 22 & 23.

Looks like we may switch to Auto Club Speedway Fontana with Speed Ventures this weekend.

Will save a few bucks on the hotel / travel.

So far, the Penningtons and I are planning to attend.

It's going to be Cal Speedway.

Some of us plan to run Friday and Saturday.

Chris Pennington has offered to host a BBQ at his house on Friday night, so a head count would be helpful.

I'm going to create another post with this info and will likely email the club advising them of the change of location.

thanks for the heads up on speed Ventures also at CA speedway. Diann wants to go to PHX and see her girlfriends so I think I'll go on the Saturday session. aslo had planed to go to Willow w/West Coast, how about you?

Yes, planning to run Friday and Saturday at CAL Speedway and am also signed up for West Coast's Willow Springs event.

Haven't driven Willow in almost two years, so looking forward to getting back there.

Hope you can make Cal Speedway.

Glad to see you are "back in the saddle".

We will be running at ACS Fontana (as written above) on Friday and Saturday.

We won't be at Willow Springs until Oct 22 & 23.

Hey Guys, I have been spanking the POC club with the ACR in the Time Trials. Chris P was at Laguna with me to witness first place on Sat and sun with a 1:35.4 and that is with coasting past the sound booth for 3 seconds! Ha we had a blast. I am in the process of ordering tires, the car is ready to roll... I cant do this weekend, but what is the next event. I want to run with Dan and the P brothers!
