Steven, thank you for an amazing event. I have heard all positive from the board and the members. You and your crew delivered a fun filled weekend. Thank you shout out to to the owners of the Besame for allowing us to tour the Yacht and the one next to it. Thank you Steven for the time put into all the detail, from parking to lunch and the car show on Sunday. It all went very smooth. Hope to see you all at an event coming up!!!!!    Eddie.

The vessel is a 100 foot Motoryacht that can comfortably fit all the Viper drivers. There is a large ramp that can become steep at low tides and the vessel it self requires a large step to get onboard. I do not recommend anyone with mobility concerns. I will be able to offer walkthrough tours of the Interior & Engine room with TWO massive V12 engines putting out 3,000 HP. We will keep food and drinks to large exterior seating areas where I have a large BBQ.

I'm coordinating with Loews resort now to have a reserved parking section. Ideally we will park all Vipers in a reserved parking section directly in front of the vessel. This area is usually blocked off and sometimes used for a wedding venue on the weekends. If there is a wedding that day we have parking alternatives.

Come join us on a drive down old route 66 and up the mountain to the Mt Baldy chair lift which will take us to the top of the mountain for lunch and a day of fun.
At the top we will have lunch at "THE TOP OF THE NOTCH" restaurant where there is indoor dining, or if you prefer, outside dining where there is a view all the way to the Channel Islands.
There are open hiking trails and a zipline, that may be open, so be sure to wear the appropriate footwear.

Meeting Points -
San Diego area Vipers will be meeting at 8:00 am at the Shell Station located at 615 W. El Norte Parkway, Escondido, CA 92026

Orange County Vipers will be meeting at 8:00 am at the 76 Station / Circle K located just of the 91 Frwy & Weir Canyon Rd at 945 N Weir Canyon Rd., Anaheim, CA 92807. We will depart this location at 8:20 sharp, heading to the Main Meeting Point mentioned below.

Los Angeles area Vipers - need to speak up, we only have one of you so far.

MAIN MEETING POINT BEFORE WE GO UP THE MOUNTAIN - at 9:00 am we will be at a 76 gas station & Circle K located at, 27300 W. Lugonia Ave, Redlands, CA 92374 - we will depart this location at 9:30 am to head up Hwy 38 to Big Bear.
We will make one stop along the way for a photo op with all of our Vipers.

LUNCHEON DESTINATION - At approximately 11:00 am will arrive at The Bone Yard Tap & Grill, located at 560 Pine Knot Ave, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315.

AFTERWARD - Some may return home, some may stay awhile - There is plenty to do in Big Bear. Shopping in the Village, take a cruise around the lake with scenic stops, walking trails, boating, zip lines, slides, biking, fishing, museums, etc.

We will attempt to arrange starting points for each region, San Diego, Orange County & LA County so that these groups can caravan together,  first to Crystal Cove Parking Lot and then from there, to Duke's in Huntington Beach for brunch. We'll do a group photo after brunch and then head out for a short cruise to Lyon Air Museum, for those who are interested. Check back as we get closer to the event for details on this. Otherwise, you could just meet us directly at either Crystal Cove Parking Lot or at Dukes or at the Lyon Air Museum, addresses below.

8:30 a.m. Sharp - We will gather at Crystal Cove Parking Lot located at,

Hi Viper family, I wanted to thank you all for attending the 2024 Christmas party. The event was amazing and we all had a lot of fun. Nino's donation to the club from the BBQ and Christmas party auction's raised $1650.00 Nino we thank you for your friendship and generosity, we love you Nino. The gift baskets were a hit as well, bringing in $ 890.00 but the cost of the baskets was $1023. I will have a meeting with the treasurer and ask him to keep a better eye on things.

As we move into 2025, I know most of you said you want to do more events with a good drive, so that is what we will work on!!!
