Dan had mentioned that he is trying to get some cars together this week.  I am heading over around 7am(yeah yeah I know slacker sleepaholic whatever).  Anyone else going to make it this week?  Does our club have an area that we usually park in?

Yeah....   all the GEN 3 guys ate them and with the extra bean power whooped us lowly Gen 1/2 guys   >o

Hey Lance, I sold my Copperhead and just picked up a 2001 ACR- so hopefully I will be on the winner's side again this year ^2

Lance,

A huge thanks for your commitment to our men in uniform >2

Your generosity has motivated me to step up to the plate, and I will be donating 5 trees to the Marine Corps families as well ^3 ^3 ^3

She just made the team at Capo Valley High, and their annual Christmas tree sale is the largest fund raiser of the year.  The school district only gives them around $400 out of an estimated $15k budget for the whole year so this really counts.  If anybody is interested in a Premium grade#1 tree(not the usual commercial grade) let me know at [email protected]  The pick up is on Saturday December 1st 8am-3pm at the high school just off Avery and the 5 Freeway.

They also have a program whereby you can donate a tree to the US Marine Corps families. ^3

The available trees are as follows:
Douglas Fir-
5-6 foot for $50
6-7 foot for $60
7-8 foot for $70
8-9 foot for $80

Noble fir-
5-6 foot for $65
6-7 foot for $75
7-8 foot for $85
8-9 foot for $100
9-10 foot for $120
10-11 foot for $200
11-12 foot for $300

They also provide local delivery for $30(Lake Forest to San Clemente)

Any help would be greatly appreciated >3

Has anybody heard from Dan and Cathy yet?  Their house is in Footthill Ranch, right in the thick of things with the Santiago Canyon fire <7

Due to some family matters, I couldn't commit to go until this morning.  Would you please include me in the parade laps as well.

Weather shows 73 and sunny tomorrow >2

Which day are we set up for, Saturday or Sunday?  I am trying to decide if a Hotel makes sense this year, but can't make a reservation till I have a date.

I attended the event on Thursday.  Had a very fun time as well.  I was 1 of 2 Vipers there that day.

How did you do in the individual autocross.  I suprised myself and turned in the quickest time of the day at a 29.554, only to "box out" at the end of the run which tacked on an extra 5 seconds ^4.  I thought ol' Ricky of the Shake and Bake team was going to throttle me for that little mistep.

Another nice spiff for buying my Copperhead(got the free trip to germany as well!)

I haven't been down for that in a couple of years- should be fun!

So says the fastest man from the day before ^9

Hope you had some fine times with your kids as well! And thanks for all the effort you put in to photograph the events.  My camera never seems to get a proper workout so it's nice to have your shots to fall back on.

Thanks.  That's where I took my car in for the first service.  They seemed professional, and now I have further confirmation.

I had a blast.  Even though I have yet to turn a single hot lap in my Viper, it's these baby steps that will hopefully put my wife's mind at ease eventually.  Timing out in the top 10 Percentile, and winning my heat should tell her that I'm ready to rock >7

Thanks to Dan and CAthy for another great event <2
