Never even heard of this before as this was WAY before my time. 
Some of the slogans are pretty good.

Before most of our times, but it was a the first great successful use of roadway advertising in the United States and perhaps the world.  1st time advertising of a product on a highway.  My Dad use to always try to figure out the poem before the end.  It was a mens shaving cream aerosol product.  The signs were apparently all over the US roadway system.  Before Freeways.
