Title: Carroll Shelby "A Life Remembered" - Petersen Museum Tribute May 30, 2012

Gentlemen and Ladies,

I was lucky to get an invitation to enter a Shelby automobile last night at the Petersen Celebration of the Life of Carroll Shelby.  It was a moving evening, some major names were there, Bondurant, Gurney, Leno, many of the former Shelby employees, major iconic friends of the man.  There was also the woman that Mr. Shelby worked so hard in 1991 to secure a heart transplant for her when she was 11 days old, now in her 20s and finishing college.  All moving speeches, a true American Hero, a fantastic evening.
