Post by: PCH VIPER on February 10, 2012, 06:41:44 AM
Fast Eddie and the guys at Gphactory Kart would like to put on a Karting session at Auto Club Speedway.
We have all done K-1 Speed, this is a BIG step up from there.  The karts we will be using will run at speeds of 65 mph !
In order to do this, we need 10 guys that would want to sign up.
Proposed Date :  June 3rd
Time: 9:00 am
Place: Auto CLub Speedway
        9300 Cherry Ave.
        Fontana,  CA   92335

Cost: $250.00/person  for three 15 minute sessions in the Gphactory Karts

Check out Fast Eddie on the track:

It seems a bit pricey to me too as we will get 2 days, 10 sessions on the big track at Willow Springs on March 3 & 4 with West Coast Racing for about the same $$$$$.

That said, if we drive our cars at this Willow Springs event, we have to supply the car, tires, brake pads, insurance, gas, etc. etc. and assume all of the liability .....

Yes....definitely agree that it is quite pricey.

We are looking into picking a Sunday to go out there when all the Kart owners can bring their karts and just run on our own.  They do have rentals right there at the track for a  more reasonable fee.

Details to follow
