As of just now (Jan. 26 6:50 am) we are up to $72K  Go Viper.  I donated so I can get on the poster they make when they break the record!

It was nice to meet you.  I would be interested in going to the Aliso Viejo meet once but will probably lean toward the Costa Mesa one when I have time to go to one.  See you at one of them.  I plan to be at the Duke Huntington Beach event.

I checked my messages on this site but do not see anything.  I am going to the Brea one, leaving in 5 minutes from Anaheim Hills area.  Hope to see you there.

I might be interested in the Aliso Viejo or Brea ones.  I have not been to either of them so exactly where do we meet?

Awesome.  Thanks for sharing. I can't wait to see the final results

Thank you!!  Just ordered both of them.

What are your recommendations for a trickle charger for my 2009 ACR?  I have not been driving it much and it seems hard to crank. The battery is just over 2 years old.

I will be driving it a lot more during the next few months but I am wondering if I need to get a trickle charger to prevent it from not starting when I want to join everybody for an event.

I am upset (with myself) that I could not make it.  My leg has not yet healed enough to be able to put weight on it for working the clutch.  I think I will be ok by next Sunday.

I hope I can still make it.  I had a major musle strain (ilio-tibial band) on my left leg on Tuesday - crutches on Wed, limping around the house on Thurs and today.  If I can drive Ace on Sunday I will be there!!  I guess my body is trying to tell me to slow down with the umpiring.

I already have it on my calendar.  I look forward to it and seeing you and your beautiful car.

Thanks for the picture.  I will try to make it on May 15.

Great!  I plan to make it.  What time does everybody usually get there.  I assume we meet at the Starbucks on PCH in Sunset Beach (?).

This is a great video. It is a little long but the good part starts at 7:20 with the ACR.

Miscellaneous Discussions / 2106 Tour D' Orange
December 28, 2015, 08:23:37 AM
I have gone to this event for the last few years and it is a lot of fun with a LOT of cars (150-200 usually).  We meet on New Year's Day starting at 6:30am.

Tour D' Orange Meetpoint:
Where: 300 Fischer Ave. Costa Mesa

Take-off: 9:00 am SHARP

***Corner of Fischer Ave & Red Hill Ave, Costa Mesa, CA 92626

https://www.facebook.com/events/581090025381325/

We usually cruise down to PCH via MacArthur Blvd, then PCH to Laguna Canyon, make our way through Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, etc , the Live Oak Canyon Rd (very twisty with trees forming a tunnel over the road, turn right at Cook's Corner onto Santiago Canyon Road.

The cruise then turns left on Jamboree Rd and heads back to the starting point, but this is where I leave the cruise and head home.

I hope we have some more Vipers there this year.  There are usually 2 or 3 but last year I saw only one other one.
