Hey Ben,

You did pretty well with you ACR last year.

Don't know that I'd try a new car that may be sprung at a bit higher rates for the track.  I can tell you that my ACR pushed a bunch last year with the higher spring rates.  I'll likely soften them for this event if I have time.

Just spoke with Mark J at Woodhouse (a regular "Auto Crosser" with Vipers) and he recommends a set up very similar to your ACR OE set up for Auto X with Hoosier A6 tires.

Dan, Yes we have rooms blocked out for both Friday and Saturday evenings.  Pretty good deal considering that it is moving into their peak season.

Though I'll need to get to the track earlier than most of you to unload the car, so I plan to be there when they open the place, though not sure when that is, maybe 8 AM?

looks like us viper guys took home 1 trophie in the sports car class with the 2nd fastest time of the day done by Ben!
43.xx something can't remember the exact time. the guy that took first was in the over sized go-kart aka the miata lol, and ran a 42.xx something...

me and magnus stayed til the end and i collected the trohpie for you ben! i will bring it with me to the viper event in fontana in 2 weeks if you will be there.

Was a lot of fun and can't wait to go back in march. biggest downfall to the event was not being broken up into the vipers and vettes classes and just let us run for a few hrs like we did last time. between me and my dad we only got in maybe 10 runs which sounds like alot.... but not that many when you spend all day there.... We ended up with like 4 or 5 extra runs that we ran out of time and were not able to get to use... :(

All in all tho we made the best of it and had a lot of fun!

i got some pics and go-pro video of some runs and if any video turn out halfway decent ill be sure to post them up and share with you all.

Here are a few videos from my runs this weekend. My first 2-3 runs i ran 47.xx passes.
rode with dan 1 time and just from riding with him once i was able to knock a solid 1 full second off my time and was running consistent 46.xx runs and almost dipped into the 45.'s with my best run being 46.073.
Was alot of fun wish i could have got more runs in but none the less had a great time with good fellow viper friends!
