Art,

Call the track.  Not sure who to speak with but if you tell them you are with the Viper group that's driving in April, somebody there should be able to help.

Also, there's an outfit selling driving suits on line for just over $100 bucks, so you may want to buy one.

Dan

Dan,

Do you think they'll actually make us use the driving suits this year or will they let us slide again like last year?

Ok, so what are some good tips on betting on the ponys for a beginer.  <I =5 >m

Pick up the racing form at the track and study the prior outings for each horse in a given race. Pay attention to the speed ratings. Also check the prior workouts, but take them with a grain of salt.

Hey Matt,
Glad you two are coming out.  We had an early start last time to beat the heat.
Shouldn't be an issue this time through.

Who's bringing the eggs?

Cool. It was killing us to get up that early to make the drive out to Pahrump. I was dragging by the end of Sunday last year.

Glad to hear you'll make this event Matt & Marcela >r

The irony is that we're driving 275 miles from Las Vegas to gamble on horses! Of course, it's 'cause this club is epic to hang around with. See you guys in a few weeks!

We're in either way. How about slightly later start times than last year?
#36
Matt & Marcela will be there.

Dang! Who's that in that photo with Eddie?

Looks like an awesome time, sorry we couldn't be there.

Thanks again to Dan and Cathy for all their hard work running the club. Lance, let me know if you need any help from Vegas.

Hey Doc,  The Prince is spending quality time with his girls just like me.  Big thanks to everyone who was in our caravan to SLC nobody got a ticket.  Huge thanks goes out to Lance, Eddie, Ben, Gary and Justin for providing the radios that helped me go 1635 miles without a ticket.

When is VOI 12? I'm ready!

Ditto and a big thanks to you guys for blocking traffic, hanging back and what-not to make sure we all stuck together during the cruise and the drive home.

Dan,

Does this mean that the Thursday caravan from Las Vegas is looking to leave earlier? We'd probably have to leave by 6AM to get there early enough for some track time. I'm guessing alot of folks won't want to hit the track after driving the 15 for 6 hours. Since you're trailering I'm guessing you're driving to SLC on Wednesday to make it to the track Thursday afternoon.

BTW: what happened to the drag racing at VOI?

gee, thanks Matt I am sure you would.  I talked to Lance and he is going to help me out.  Thanks.

Lance is the KING! I don't know how he's going to have time to spend your money, his money, take photos, update his website and enjoy all the events with us...perhaps he has discovered how to slow down time...or clone himself...

I need a favor from someone attending VOI 11.  I will not be able to attend this year =17, but I would still like to buy some memorablia.  I am looking for someone to buy around $300 of worth while merchandise for me.  I have posters, banners, glasses, signage, etc. from almost every other VOI since 1995 ( I am only missing voi 7 and 8 as I wasn't able to attend those either).  I can put together a good list of the things I am most interested in, but I wanted to find someone willing to do this first.  I plan on meeting the caravan when you pass through Vegas on the way to and from VOI so I could give you cash on either end of the trip.   Please email me at [email protected] if you might be willing to help me out on this, I don't check the site too often.

Robert,
If you're handing out $300, I'm willing to spend it for ya!

Unfortunately, I've already got the Motos from my time in my old region...

I'll have my Beltronicx RX65 radar detector with me as well.

Hemotox - there are carpool lanes on the 15 here in Vegas.

ViperX - same offer as Bad News made. We have two open seats (one in each Viper) from Las Vegas on.

Just a general question: do you guys use the little Motorola two-way radios on your club cruises? They work pretty well for a caravan to avoid cops. Everyone tunes to the same freq and that way anyone getting a radar hit (especially those at the front or the back of the line) announce it to the group so everyone can slow down.
