 >v   Amazing BBQ and lots of enjoyable conversation and relaxation at Nino & Ruth's.  This is an event you don't want to miss!  Check your calendars and make plans for a day of socialization.  Nino has confirmed the date and time that is in the original post.  Other than setting up meet points, this is ready & waiting for you!

Thanks, Lance for putting such an amazing event together for the Viper family.  Loved the ukulele and singing, and the dancers were fabulous!  Of course the food was great, too, but that show was something else!  Glad we didn't miss this event.  No wonder you're being left with the Prez's position again!  None of us want to give up a good thing when we have it.  Pam & Paul

SAN DIEGO VIPER GROUP:
If you want to join us and caravan to Lance's meeting point at Starbucks, we will be waiting at 7AM at the REST STOP that is about 5 miles North of Oceanside off I-5.  This is the same place we've met before when traveling up I-5.  We will leave the Rest Stop at 7:20AM in order to be at Starbucks in Costa Mesa about 8:15 AM.

If you're a fairly new Viper owner, this is the place you need to be with your car!  You can learn so much from one of these car control clinics.  You'll finally get to feel it skid in a turn and know what to do if it does that when you're on the road.  You'll get to let loose with its power in a safe environment.  And you'll have some of the best instructors around helping you learn how to feel those nuances of your Viper.

Those of us who have attended the CCC before, LOVE the experience and enjoy coming back.  So come on, make this event fully successful and SIGN UP!  You'll find it will be hard to wipe the smiles off your face after each session in your Viper.

This just shows why we live in North San Diego County!  Great roads to drive... great food... and great people!  Such a spectacular turn out for Richard's Run this spring!  Nice seeing everybody.  Pam

SAN DIEGO VIPERS:  We'll gather at 8:30AM at the PARK & RIDE on Hwy 76 & I-15,  and we'll pull out of there at 8:45 in order to be at the Shell off Temescal Canyon Drive where the whole group gathers by 9:30.  Richard wants to pull out of there NO LATER than 10AM so please get there on time.  The group that's coming to the restaurant right behind us is a Chevy Club (not a Corvette Club as we previously were told) and we are hoping there's some Vette's there so we have something to upstage.  Anyway, it'll be fun!  These are the final times, so ignore any discrepancies in previous posts as things have changed and evolved.  The Original post has been corrected to these times.
Please check Lance's post for OC Vipers to join him on his way to the Shell.  -  Pam

Don't worry about signing up late!  There's no problem fitting more in.  Richard was just saying yesterday, as he pre-ran the route, that he hopes a lot show up, as this is going to be an awesome run!  Late comers... last minute joiners.... ALL WELCOME!  Just show up at the start point and off we'll go!  And, hey, this place he chose for lunch is a real fun place; Sports Cars and Motorcycles always welcome and at this place.  See ya there!  Pam & Paul

Maybe I should just ride my Harley; this Mercedes thing is getting outta hand!  But I gotta tell ya, I can turn the Benz easier than I can the Viper!  (But that's just little ol' me.  You big strong guys can manhandle those snakes any where!)
Hey, I was looking at an Audi, they're NICE!... my car's getting old.  Like me.   =17

This is shaping up to be a GREAT run!  Over 14 cars expected already.  New member, Dan Campbell will join us in his "93 Viper, and his son will be following the "snake" in his '99 Prowler, that they assure us will easily keep up with it's 375 HP Supercharged engine.  If our friends show up, we might have to put one in Paul's Viper and I'll join the rear ranks in my supercharged SL55 AMG Mercedes...  looks like we might have a bit of a car show at the restaurant!

Great articles, Lance!  We couldn't make that run back to our old stompin' grounds  =17
but being able to see the photos and read a well done article brought us right back there with you Viper folks.  Beautiful country!   You've done a lot to enhance the experience of owning a Viper for so many of us!  Pam

Now that our Viper Club is the proud holder of that Roving Trophy the Corvette Club put up at the AutoX,  ^8
we definately want to be at the restaurant after our run first and have the parking dominated by Vipers!  Congrats to the members who participated in the March AutoX!  Hope to see some of you at this run!
