Just thought I would post up about this event going on on the 31st, in case anyone not going on the Ventura run is looking for a closer car event that Saturday.  It is a run from Calabasas down to Camp Pendleton, where there will be a car show and food for the Marines and participants.  I plan on doing the run and show portion and would welcome any other Vipers showing up as spectators on Camp Pendleton.  I am trying to get the location and directions for the show on base to post up as additional information for those interested.  Here is the website for more information:  http://obiukwu.com/

Just wanted to throw out an open invitation for any one to join me when I head up to super car Sunday 18 May at the Village Coffee Roaster off the 101 and Mullholand Drive.  If you would like to cruise up there, just let me know and we can arrange times and places to meet.

Upcoming Events of Interest / New Years Day Drive
December 30, 2007, 07:49:53 PM
I just wanted to find out if any one else wants to do this drive on New Years day.  It is up in Orange County and more details can be found here.  http://www.bench-racing.com/html/event_calendar.html  I did this two years ago and had a blast.  Show time is 8:30AM in Costa Mesa, near Newport Shelby.  I would be willing to meet at the I-5 rest area if anyone else is interested in going.  Would love to have more than one Viper show up.

Hello all,
I am anticipating being home from Iraq by December.   >2  Once I get back I am considering taking the Viper on a cruise up the coast to Washington.  I just wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions for a Viper friendly winter route for getting there.  The last time I took the I-5 in June, it was still crazy cold in the mountains of Norcal/southern Oregon.  I definitely need to avoid snow/ice conditions.  Any help would be appreciated.
