I'll be there!

I guess I only need 998 since I have a 97.  My gts is higher mileage and I do plan on tracking it, so I need to get this done.  I am technical and would do it myself, but I think it requires welding, which I don't have the equipment to do.

I'll keep looking and let you know if I make any progress.

Hey,  anybody know of a dodge dealer around LA that can do the frame recall 998/999?  I've been calling dodge dealers, and they all say they can't...

I have no idea what size I am, so I figured I'd have to go to a store. Plus I know next to nothing about helmets.
Thanks!

just registered!  Any suggestions on where to buy autocross numbers or a helmet around LA (preferably the north west side)?

Good point.  Maybe I'll go the Touch-up paint route so its not so obvious until i'm ready to repaint the whole part.

Thanks for the tip.  How pricey is that place?  Most of my damage is just paint chips, but I do have a long crack across the stripes on the front fascia.

Hey guys,

I have been considering fixing up all the chips in my paint and was wondering if anyone had a suggestion on how I should do it.  Will any paint shop do or are there any recommendations for shops in the area (I'm in the antelope valley, but don't mind driving into LA)?  Is there stuff I can use to do it myself?  How about touch up kits?

I'm planning on signing up for this and making this my first event.  I'm just waiting on a few parts to get in before I sign up to make sure I can have the car ready.

That sounds awesome!  A lap in our vipers, or a ride along lap?

I definitely bought it to drive it....  It does have some cosmetic defects, so I'm not too worried about driving it or tracking it.

The one issue, I've never been on a track (except for one of those pay to drive a ferrari around a track for 3 laps).  I would assume willow springs has some instruction available?  Any suggestions to get started?
