Hey Mike. I just signed up per Aaron's email.  I'll turn up the wick on the flames for your camera this time.  Haven't run ACS is about 7 years, so I will be on a learning curve this time.  What time is everyone showing up to the track? Save me a spot in the pits Mike as I will be driving down early that morning.

Anyone have any experience running with them? I need of some track time and Cal Speedway is sold out this weekend. POC is running Buttonwillow next weekend.  Any comments would be helpful. Thanks

Cheap track time with a well run group.  Already have 4 Vipers signed up.  Many garages still left to rent as well. A good time to run Buttonwillow before the summer heat gets here.

Hey Matthew,
I wouldn't strap the A-arms.

If you look on the underside of the frame rails, there are elongated holes that you can put "j" hooks in.

THe rear ones are pretty easy to find, the front ones are right at the rear edge of the splitter.

This is what you are looking for. Very easy to tie down the car without putting stress on A-arms, wheels and possibly affecting alignment settings.

Yes.  Criss cross both if possible and at least the front. This will keep the car from moving side to side.  Be sure to leave the car in neutral.  Setting the e-brake wouldn't hurt either.

Thanks Ben, yes I will take the Lexan shield.  Where did you find the glass one?  I haven't had much luck finding anything locally or in So Cal.  Let me know how I can retrieve the windshield.

Anyone know where to get one locally?  What about Lexan?  I purchased a new Lexan windshield back in Dec and finally decided to put it on.  It is for an SRT. So if anyone needs one, let me know, It will go cheap.

The track itself is twisty with a long straight away for triple digit speeds. There will be a beginner's group with an instructor ride-along for basic instruction included if you want to run on the track.

Beating sound at Laguna Seca canbe a "black magic" type of thing, especially for Vipers with side exhaust.  If you have cats, then you should be OK, but cat-less can be a problem.  Ambient temperature & air density play a large role in dbs levels at that track.  One day I would pass without issue and the next day, when the weather was colder and the air dense with low clouds I was over by 3 dbs.  I would highly suggest bringing some turn downs "just in case".

Had to cancel my registration as a work commitment has me in Stockton.
