Sue and I are in.  My first viper event was the zone run to the queen. This is going to be epic. Paid an extra 10 bux for the harbor view.  VCA room rates still available.  What a deal!!

To all my friends in the sdviper club I am proud to announce the opening of my second auto repair location at 5165 Cass Street in Pacific Beach (Phone 858-488-0885). It's on the corner of Turquoise and Cass at the base of Mt. Solidad. Many of you were at the Grand opening run that ended with lunch at my first shop in Mission Hills, and it was a blast. I'm working with Lance to set up a similar event at the new location, so stay tuned for details. And I'd like to thank everyone in advance for your support of my new shop.

I have just opened my second automotive repair location, this time in pacific beach, called Cass street automotive. It is located at 5165 cass street. The number there is 858-488-0885. I had such a good time at my first shop grand openning lunch run that I can't wait to do it again. I will be working with Lance on a date and will post it soon. This shop is a five day a week operation, which opens up weekend "put your car on a hoist" days, dates to follow if there is demand. Thank you again for all your support at Mission Hills Automotive during the last 4 years, and I hope to see you all soon.

Any after market part involved in any way with the engine or exhaust needs a CARB sticker.  Go to the bar website to check if your part is legal.

Good weekend of driving, great photos.  Ran a personal best of 1:57.5.  With some more line work and driving time at this track, 1:55 was certainly possible in the ACR - which is pretty good for a street car.  Checked the data logger and it showed a couple of places where the ACR pulled over 1.6 G's - and not in the bowl!  Amazing cars.

Got some good video myself - will post when I get time.

Sounds like everybody (except Angel  >o ) had fun.  Checking fluids before any driving event is critical.

Checking tires is important too as old tires can and do fail when stressed.  (Ben, are you out there? - Glad you're OK)

Dan
Hey Dan, next time put a track transponder on. I was looking at the award times and a 157.5 is close to a trophy in TTu and TT1, not that a trophy or two is any big deal but they do look good on a shelf:)
