Thank you all for the invite.  If I had planned this better I would love to be there.

Stay safe.  Looks like the track might be a bit greasy.

I will try to stay more attentive so I can be sure to attend the next event.

Thx.

My preference would be to run around the track a bit.

I would prefer to not have an instructor unless one is required.

Thx.

Do I need to be there by a certain time?

Hi All,

Dan mentioned this event me earlier this week.  I really should check the forum more often.

I have been considering going.  How many of us normally go?

In looking at the posts it looks like most people head up the night before and stay at the track.  Do many drive up the morning of?  Would I need to be there early or could I show up around 9 AM?

It doesn't look like I will be able to go (basically due to bad planning on my part) but am very interested in this one or the next one if I can get everything sorted out.

Thx

Anyone interested in Cars & Coffee this weekend?

Also, I am always interested in the best driving roads around.  I find Highway 39 and The Angeles Crest Highway great places for a weekend drive.  Any others?

Hi,

Is this something that attendees should bring their Viper to or more of a hands on situation with cars in the shop?

Is there a fee or just show up?

Thx

I would like to go to NVE 3.  I have my money ready to give it to anyone that will take it.  But I am currently on the wait list.  I had no idea it would sell out so fast.

Is there someone I can bribe?  Is there a way to squeeze my way in?

Thx

General Viper Discussions / Cars & Coffee Member Meet
September 11, 2017, 01:52:12 PM
I went to Cars & Coffee in San Clemente a couple days ago (Sept. 9).  I'm standing there cleaning up my 98' GTS when another Viper pulls in next to me.  A 94' RT/10.  Turns out it was another club member named Mike.  Always nice to meet a member of the group.

In all there were 3 Vipers at the show out of about 300ish total cars.  The remaining Viper was a 01' Final Edition GTS.  I never got a chance to meet the owner of that one though.

There was another gentleman there who owns a 97' GTS but apparently it is not running.  I referred him to Dan.  He knew of him but didn't want a $100 tow bill.  Hopefully he will get it in the shop and we'll get to see it soon.

Not sure what event I'm heading to this weekend, maybe just a canyon run.  If anyone would like to get together or have any event recommendation, just let me know.

Upcoming Events of Interest / Car Show Sizes
July 02, 2016, 01:57:08 PM
 Hi all,

Met up with another club member to go to a car show today. Neither one of us had ever been to this show before. It was very small. Only about 10 to 15 cars in total. Are there any shows in Southern California that are typically fairly large in your recommendation? The Cars and Coffee in Costa Mesa sometimes has 100 to 200 cars. I've heard good things about the Aliso Viejo show as well. Thoughts?

John, it was a pleasure meeting you today. Let's get together again for another car show sometime, perhaps a larger one next time.

How does the Brea one sound?

I will send you a message with contact info.

I apologize, as I have not met any club members yet, I am uncertain where Nino and Ruth's might be.  I'd say there is a good likelihood I would be interested in attending.  Can you provide any more info?

I'm there.  Do I need to sign up or just show up?
