Upcoming SoCal Viper Club Events / SOS Auto Gallery and Pierce Co...

Small change in our plans for Sunday. Jeff spoke to Dustin and was able to get us 10 spots reserved for Supercar Sunday. Dustin recommended we get there a little bit sooner than 9:30-10:00am. What we decided would be best is still to meet at my shop, 7351 Deering Ave, Canoga Park CA, 91303. We make it brief, line up our cars and head over to Pierce for the car show. We hangout and socialize there, then head back to the shop for snacks and drinks. We'll leave for our cruise from there. Everyone's really excited it's been posted to the forum, thank you Eddie and Lance. They're even more excited knowing more members are attending. If anyone else cares to join we'd love to have ya!
Hi I am Hamed, new member to the SoCal VIPER group. I have meet a few of you at Lance and Lori's place. Please join me and some other this Sunday for some fun and to get our VIPERS out.
We plan on meeting at SOS Auto Gallery between 8:00am and 8:30am, from there we plan on hanging out for about an hour, then drive over to Pierce College for Supercar Sunday, which usually runs until 10:30am. From there we plan on cruising and having lunch, lunch spot is to be determined.

Would be great to get a head count of those attending. Wanted to provide everyone with snacks and non alcoholic beverages. Kids are more than welcome to attend, it's a family friendly function.

Previous Events / cars coffee ideas for 2023
Last post by anthony - May 29, 2023, 12:59:24 PMwe need to get our vipers back on the road and get together. if you have something fun put it here. there are a few events I'm looking at. cars coffee June 4th at Cervantes Mexican food. 201 W center st promenade Anaheim 8-11. $5 per car. next is one I did last year amazing cars and great turn out. cars & corks. June 24. 10:30 - 2pm. Burtech Family Vineyard. 1325 pipeline dr. Vista. 3rd Cars & Castles. Aug 13th in San Clemente. its a fundraiser $50 per head but there is great food, wine, music and tequila tasting all included. details to follow.

Anyway, I really miss you guys and hope to see some of you at Willow Springs with Speed Ventures Saturday June 3rd. I'll be in my BMW because I've sold my Viper. There is one 2015 Viper registered for the event - Noel G. Do any of you know him?

I suggest an 8:30am arrival if we wish to park the Vipers together and head for one of the back rows. No arrival prior to 08:30, No Revving your engine! No Burnouts! No Speeding! They are very strict about this! The location is the Outlets at San Clemente. The address is 101 W. Avenida Hermosa, San Clemente, 92672. There will be a coffee and donut cart, a Ruby's Diner, Panera Bread, and Rockwells Cafe and Bakery. This is one of our favorites because the stores open at 10 and you can go shopping.

Upcoming Events of Interest / Quarantine Cruise Sunday, Apri...
Last post by GTS1997 - February 20, 2023, 10:33:41 AMSunday, April 16th. This event starts as a car show in a parking lot, from 7-9am. Then there is a cruise along PCH through Huntington Beach and sometimes through Sunset Beach and/or Long Beach, ending in another parking lot with lunch restaurants available. This event was started as a secret event when everything was shut down during COVID. Sometimes I just go for the first 2 hours of car show and skip the cruise part. There are normally over 400 vehicles. If we want to park the Vipers together, we need to be there prior to 7am. Buy about 7:15-7:30 the lot will be full. Most of the events start at 3313 Hyland Ave, in Costa Mesa. However, some months the location gets changed. If the location changes I will send out an update. The event locations are posted on Friday evening at 5pm. If you want to follow this event on Instagram, the account is qruisinpch (spelled with a q not a c) text CRUISE to 21000. At the usual starting parking lot there is a coffee shop and a croissant shop. The bacon, ham and egg croissant is so yummy!

Last post by GTS1997 - February 09, 2023, 06:18:46 PMWe can meet at Cook's Corner prior to 8am and leave Cook's at 8am to drive to the event together. We should arrive at the event by 08:30 to get parking in the main lot. Cook's opens at 8am, so the motorcycle parking will not be a problem.

I checked out the tech sheet and it appears that anyone and everyone will be able to take their car around the track as they only require a 3 point seat belt and a helmet. Should be a ton of fun.
