I went to it at California speedway, it was fun. Would we miss any good activities on Saturday if we do the SRT Track Experience?

That's probably a good idea Lance. On Saturday, a guy I know went off and rolled his car! He was okay but his car was pretty bad.
I have slower lap times now than I've had in the past because of what I see. I've become more conservative and don't push it as much.
Our cars are street cars and don't have all the safety equipment that race cars have so we are at greater risk of injury.
So my advice is to just have fun and go as fast as you feel comfortable.

What group do you think I should sign up in? Intermediate or advanced? This will be my first time with TCRA.

I was only there for Saturday. The weather was clear but cold and super windy. Full house with 135 cars. Today was probably better but I had to get back for some kid stuff.
There were about five Vipers out there yesterday and Ray M. was instructing. I think Michael Greenberg won the race in a white GTSR. 
Unfortunately, someone I know in a Ferrari went off and rolled it. It was a 348 Challenge car and had a full roll cage so he was okay, just a little sore and shaken up but the car had substantial damage.
Besides this one mishap and the wind, the day was a lot of fun.

Looking forward to it. What's the best way to launch the car off the line? I'm a newbie to drag racing. What rpm do you shift?

I had a great time Saturday and was bummed that I could not stay for Sunday too. Sounds like everyone had a fun time.
I'm going to the Pantera event this weekend at Willowsprings. Anyone else going?

I think I'm going to sign up for this one. I've never drag raced my Viper so I'm very interested in trying it.

I plan on leaving Friday. Is there a group cruising out Friday or is everyone going on Thursday?
