For Sale - Vehicles / Selling my Viper
May 20, 2013, 08:46:05 PM
I'm moving back to Norway in June and I've put my Viper up for sale. Hopefully I'll be able to attend a last event before I leave. Thanks for welcoming me into the club, and for the great times! This was my first Viper, but not the last. If I'm back on vacation later I'll be sure to make it to a meet!

Here's the listing on Autotrader, if you know anyone that might be interested: http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicledetails.xhtml?listingId=346796445

Thanks!

Magnus

Nice! I'm in :)

Just a heads up, if you're coming and want to do the vault tour, you'll have to sign up in advance by emailing Shayna Stander [email protected].

I'll be there! Hopefully you can still get the vault tour.

I would love to join. I've sent you an email Dan. Magnus Buseth, 2003 SRT-10. I will be staying for the BBQ too.

I didn't get an email, but hopefully there's still room! Sounds like an awesome event.

I don't have any tires to spend drifting so this is a nice alternative. Are there many walls to hit on the big track?

Magnus, did you find out if you can take your convertible on the Roval?  From looking at the Speed Ventures site, it looks like you need a real roll bar.

I plan to go as a spectator, and maybe do the Auto-X.

Aaron at Speed Ventures just confirmed convertibles are allowed as long as they have factory roll hoops. I'm signed up for the event now!

Hmm, no I didn't check. I see there's another '03 registered for Saturday. I just sent Speedventures an email.

Thanks for the advice Dan. I ordered a set of Michelin Super Sports today (before reading your post), and will hopefully have them installed early next week.

Do you think it will fill up quickly? If possible I'd like to wait to register until I'm sure I'll get new tires on. I'll have to get a tow hook as well, and then I should be all set.

Thanks for the advice. I'll see you out in Palm Springs tomorrow!

This would be fun. I've never tracked before. Will my '03 original run-flat tires suffice for my first track experience? And what is typically the pricing on instruction?

Do you guys insure your cars for track days?
