Well, looking at my logged time here I realize that the Viper is not a hobby, it is an addiction....

2 days, 6 hours and 1 minutes.

Is there a support group, a 12-step program or a 12-turn racetrack to get over this?

Vypr Phil :)

Hey Phil,

Yep, come out to the TCRA event at Willow Springs in September.  I've heard (from the great one) that tracking your Viper can be addicting too.

Did you notice Lance's oil pan upgrade?  Looks like he's going to the "dark side" too.

Lance and the dark side..... Naaaahhhh!
Let's just say that we will turn Lance into a "Speed Demon"  <2 >3 <2 >3 <2

Lance, as usual, great job on the oil pan upgrade tutorial!

Dan, I really look forward to Willow Springs in the fall.

I doubt that I will ever be a Track Junkie...... >1

But I am certainly addicted to driving with good company !

I'm already signed up for the Cruisin' for a Cure....which is the same weekend as TCRA.   But as you know,  the oil baffle is NOT required for Cruisin' for a Cure....sooooo  <2

Hey Phil,

Any chance you'd want to do a before and after with the "computer reflash" at DC?  I remember you mentioning it.  Dan C would like another car to do this on that is "stock" on dyno day.  He's already doing my SRTC, but it has K & N's and headers and he says it may not be representative of the increases gained on a stock car.

Let me and DC know please.

Thanks,

Dan ^2

PS  Hey Lance, I'll be at the TCRA Event, so do you want to help co-ordiante the Cruisin' for a Cure Event?  We should have a few cars there.

Hey Dan,
I'm actually leaning towards going to the TCRA.  Depends on how many Rookies like me go and how the family schedule pans out.

On the other hand, if I do the Cruisin' for a Cure event,  I'd be happy to coordinate.

Yooo Lance,

Hope you can make the TCRA event.  They are a slower, more conservative and friendly group.  You should like them, I do.  Lots of different cars too, which can be fun.  A beginner in a Viper will outrun most of the faster guys in other cars.  You won't have any issues running with these guys.

It looks like we will have 6 or 8 Vipers coming to this one so far.  Hopefully, we can get some more guys out.

Sometimes I think getting participation at events is like "water on a rock", ya just keep askin'!

Dan

PS  I need a day at the track to relieve some work tension, I can tell, I'm starting to drive faster on the street! <2
