We're working on a group rate at the Aliante for the caravan to VOI – but need to know how many members will commit to staying here – Please let us know if you plan to!

We're also planning to stop on the way home from VOI on Monday, staying in Las Vegas (location TBD) Monday evening and meet up with Viper Owners from AZ, NV and the east coast for dinner.  Again, please let us know if you plan to stop with us in Vegas on the way home.

Duke's Brunch & Poker Run

For several years now, Duke's Huntington Beach has opened their doors early for the So Cal Viper Club to enjoy their Sunday Brunch with preferred front row parking and this year will be no different.

Like last year, after brunch there will be a Texas Hold'em Poker Run.  We'll leave Huntington Beach and cruise 27-miles along the coast picking up cards along the way, and end up in a cool park in Laguna Niguel.   There will be cool prizes for the top winners!

"Bring a bottle of water or two - we get thirsty while at the park."

Plan to arrive Duke's around 9:30AM - Doors open for brunch at 9:50AM

We'll park our own cars - but there will be a $5 valet charge.

Breakfast will be in the Huntington Beach Room overlooking the ocean and pier.
We'll enter as a group through the Barefoot Bar Entrance (north side).
Please note, that we'll have tables of 6-10 persons and Duke's will bill us by table.

Poker Run - Depart Duke's at 11AM

1st Stop Fashion Island – Pick up your first poker card
2nd Stop Crystal Cove – Pick up your second poker card
3rd Stop Laguna Niguel – The final cards will be played

"Will you be the WINNER?"  =28

The AZ Viper Club is putting the Barrett-Jackson Event together this year – here are their details along with an attached flyer.  If you're interested in attending the auctions, they request you R.S.V.P. by January 8th.  I realize this is late notice, and for that I apologize.

Note from Rich Link, AZ Club President:
Our event this year includes a continental breakfast at Bill Luke Dodge, and entry to BOTH Russo and Steele and Barrett-Jackson auctions.  As always, we would love to have your So Cal members join us again this year!   I've attached our flyer, which you can forward to your members.  We look forward to seeing you again in January!

On Saturday, Jan 23rd, at

8:30am meet at:  Bill Luke Chrysler Jeep Dodge

9:30 a.m.     Caravan to Rosso and Steele Auction

As for a hotel – this year everyone is on their own – I suggest you Google the auction location; right side mouse on the map and "search nearby"; type in "hotels" and you'll get a ton of options.  We're staying at the following hotel as this is where the VCA President's meeting is being held - I believe rooms are still available:

Scottsdale Marriott at McDowell Mountains

Scottsdale, AZ 85260 USA

Hello Viper Club Members!

This year we have a very special donation from Viper Club Member, Lance Kouchi.  He has handcrafted and customized this beautiful Ukulele for some very lucky member!  This is to be auctioned off at the Christmas Party next weekend.  We have opened up the auction for all members to bid (whether you can attend the party or not).  Lance's hand crafted Ukuleles have sold for thousands of dollars...before customizing.

If you're interested in this beautiful instrument, sign in and place your bid.  If you  have trouble signing in, please feel free to email me.
[email protected]

The Ukulele is made from Koa wood, with wood accents of Mango, Ebony,
Curly Maple and Rosewood, along with inlaid Abalone shell.
Lance has invested well over 50-hours in the build.
An embroidered case is also included.

If you're serious about winning and cannot make the Christmas Party, find someone attending that can do your bidding via phone  <1

=3    Merry Christmas Everyone!!!
