Lions Automobilia Museum April 2, 2022We are going to take a trip back in time and experience the 50's and 60's So Cal Car Culture all over again.
The Lions Drag Strip was a legendary American Raceway that operated from 1955 to 1972 in Wilmington California.
This was the place to be and where many great legends, pro drivers and enthusiasts went to run the 1/4 mile.
Come join us as we put our Vipers on display in front of the museum and tour the incredible collection that is on display inside.
We have also made special arrangements to have a box lunch inside the museum in their mock 50's diner.

The Lions Automobilia Museum is definitely a must see !
Walking thru the doors was like going thru a time portal which took you back in time to an era that will forever be remembered as one of the greatest times to be a car enthusiast.
We were so pleased to have these living legends join us for the day. Paul Schley, Bill Bagshaw, Mark Schley and John Morton
Paul and Mark Schley are revered around the world for their record setting Lightening Bug which was the first VW Bug to run a 10 second quarter mile
Bill Bagshaw is a NHRA Hall of Famer that won his class at the last race at the Lions Drag Strip on 12/2/72
John Morton worked for Carrol Shelby, was a team driver with Ken Miles, is a 9 time LeMans driver AND drove the Viper for
Team Oreca in 1997 along with Justin Bell and Pierre Yver

John Morton sharing some of his stories from his incredible history
So great that Bill brought him along for us to meet and spend some time with him. His history includes time with all the greats like Carrol Shelby, driving along side with Ken Miles, Sharing the 97 LeMans Oreca Viper with Justin Bell and so much more. Truly amazing gentleman and such an honor to meet him.
Equally impressed with having Rick Lorenzen - founder and owner of the Lions collection come out and spend time with us in his amazing facility.
