Hey SoCal Viper club, I have been discussing the idea with Lance that we do a SoCal Viper club calendar. The idea would be to feature various Vipers from all Gens and types. I would like to put together several days were myself and a few members would go out to various locations so I can shoot photos. I have some locations near Malibu and the surrounding areas that we could shoot. Some mountain roads and cool locations we can do some driving as well as still photos. I wanted to get this thread started to see what kind of interest we can generate in the idea. Let me know your thoughts as we work on trying to make this happen. Chime in of you would be interested in using your car and please note what year and color and details since I don't know everyone out there.

I have certainly 'lurked' on these forums often and attended the last Julian run, but I would be happy to show up for this if a Yellow/Black car was needed.
Hoping to join up on the VCA membership soon enough, and start attending more runs as well. Car is in the shop getting some engine work (Cam, full exhaust, rockers, and so on...) but it will be done in a few days and will be ready to go!

Definitely hoping to make it out to a meet soon! It's been too long, though I've had a long trip to Australia and a few others as excuses if that is worth anything.
I have just had the creampuff cam in my car replaced with the 708, and have had the rockers upgraded as well. Beyond that it's been more maintenance mods. Spark plugs, wires, motor mounts, fuel filter, and so on. Throw all that in with a tune and the Viper should be running just as it should be >r
I believe you'll like the 708 cam. Adds hp and tq, still passes smog (with cats).
Now, add some head work and you can make more power!

Great idea Scott, I am in 04 White Mamba and 09 Bumble Bee ACR what might look good one month maybe July a RED WHITE and BLUE three car American pride picture. Sounds like you have many cars and colors to choose from.

Cuz Mike and I are going to scout some locations this weekend for the photos. I want to get one day of shooting done up here in the Westlake / Thousand Oaks and Malibu hills area.

Art, lance and I are meeting at 7:00 and we will hang for maybe an hour I guess we did not make firm plans yet. We wanted to see who was avalible. Like to have a few cars to cruise arond and photograph in the hills see what we can come up with.

We are off to a great start and the calendar will be really nice based on the sample that Scott had.
The first location was really cool and driving the backroads with only 4 of us was a ton of fun.

Well Viper club we are three months into the calendar so far and July is done with a nice spread of red, white and blue gen 3 convertibles. If your interested in being part of this one of a kind calendar please let myself or Lance know so we can figure out when and where we can get you in there.
