Dan Cragin has once again stepped up to support our Club with the Annual Dyno Day.
Dan and his crew will be there from 9:00am till 5:00.   They will have doughnuts and coffee in the morning and then Tony will be cooking us lunch on the BBQ at noon for ALL who attend !  
The first car on the Dyno is going to be an incredible V-10 Drag Pack Challenger which will set the benchmark for us to try and beat.

I am new here but looking forward to meeting some of the So-Cal Viper peeps!
I am looking forward to coming to this dyno day. I recently purchased my first viper :)

Welcome, Derek.  I too bought a 1996 blue and white GTS with 16K miles on it, but that was in June, 2008.  I now have over 31K on it - joining the club means putting that car to good (and proper) use.  Looking forward to meeting you in person at the next event.

Im heading up to DC performance this thursday to have my cat-back corsa exhaust installed. Im looking forward to this car finally sounding a bit more like a real viper! its just way to quite with the stock exhaust. gonna see how much louder this cat back does and if it needs to be louder i plan to install high flow cats.

I'll try to get a list of mods and pics together... but it is 2am and I have to get up in 4 hours to trailer out to Spring Mountain.  I do have the Corsa 3" exhaust with hi-flo cats and Bellinger exhaust headers and a K&N hi-flo filter box and filter.  I find it funny that you are trying to make yours louder; when Lena and I go on long trips with the club (Utah, Vegas, etc.) everyone tells me how fun it was to crank up the tunes while on the road while Lena and I have to keep saying "huh, what'd you say" when trying to carry on a conversation even though we are right next to each other - and forget trying to hear the radio over my exhaust.  I often end up with a mild headache and stiff eardrums by the end of a trip.  Maybe we should just trade cars... :-)

Well just got my exhaust installed the other day. A nice Cat-Back Corsa exhaust. I must say i am extremely please with it thus far. It was louder than i expected which was a good thing! And sounds awesome as well as looks awesome! I was thinking it wasn't going to be loud enough and i would have to end up getting high flow cats and some headers. but i think this did the trick! now my car has nice sounds as well and nice looks!   >g

I had DC performance do the install on the system and they did great work! it turned out awesome! and they were very helpful and nice people to talk to. I had lots of questions i asked and even tho they were super busy they did their best to answer all my questions. This was my first of many visits ill be making to their shop, i was so surprised by how many vipers they had there! i spent the first half of the morning checking out their shop and looking at all the vipers they had there.

Big thanks to dan and the crew at DC for the great experience I had! Keep up the great work guys!

Dan and his team are a class act. They are the only shop we will let work on our viper.

Any updates on when this event will be taking place?
I'd just like to have a few weeks notice so i can plan accordingly.

We are now confirmed for January 14th !!

I should be able to make it to dyno. I might be out of town that weekend, so I will confirm during the first week of the year.

Hey Dan, I posted this morning  after I got a reminder note from DC last night.  I traded notes with the friends we're meeting up with and she told me that there is very little snow in SLC.  If we don't get good snow in the next 7 or 8 days, then I will see you guys at DC

Just got back form a week in Deer Valley. Snow was good on the Mountain, rest of the country side, no snow. Did not hit one rock in the 6 days.  About 70% of Mtn open.  PCity is rocking despite the bad snow conditions.  They are making the cover good.  Skiing is like skiing in Sun Valley this time of year.

Hey Doc - what car are you going to bring to Dyno Days?  Viper, GT or GT350 .... oh those decisions!

Seriously, it will be great to see you.  I look forward to it.

I plan on coming down for this. No dyno run for me unless they run out of cars and need filler.

 Dan @ DC has my RT and is going to give her a good looking over this week >g for the first time since I got it earlier this month. My wife Diana and I will be there to pick it up on Saturday and we look forward to meeting all of you! The RT is stock so not sure if I should bother putting her on the Dyno and I don't plan on too many mods just yet. My last "fun" car had around 110 HP so a stock 450 HP is plenty for me right now... <2

This was my 1st Official Viper meet and i must say i was quite impressed with all the great people that showed up, everyone seemed to be very friendly and welcoming. I chatted with quite a few different people out there and i learned quite a great deal just in the few short hours.

Ask Lyle for a pic of the "final" dyno results.  I "dynoed" after you left and the results were pretty amazing for a bone stock 09.  I new this ACR was strong, but didn't realize just how strong.

What was your dyno result? I found mine from 2010 which was 533 hp and 501 trq.
Congrats Angel on the 631hp from my old Camaro! I was too chicken to run it with the nitrous.  >v

Hey Ben,

Best solid run was 553 rwhp, 509 rwtq.

It made 555 on the second run but the 555 was just a "blip".

Wonder how this engine will do with headers?

My first 09 car made 515 rwhp / 495 rwtq on DC's dyno when stock.

Like my dad always said, "Rather be lucky than good".

Great pictures as always, Armen looks fantastic in a Blue and White Viper!.

Cathy and I dropped off the Viper early in the morning. Cathy's Aunt was moving that weekend so we were helping her.

I spoke with Armen throughout the day and it sounded like everyone had a lot of fun. Hopefully Dan and his team with have another Dyno day soon and we will be able to attend.

Thanks for all the burn outs; I purchased new PS2 tires Monday morning. LOL
