This year our Holiday Party will be held at the Loews Hollywood Hotel. The star of Hollywood & Highland Center, this ideal location offers everything for a fun and entertaining stay in Hollywood.  The world famous Hollywood Boulevard with its renowned Walk of Fame, the Chinese and Dolby Theaters and the Hollywood Bowl are among the spectacular landmarks that encircle the property.  You can't get any closer to all of the action in Hollywood!

Our event will be held in the incredible 3,594 sq.ft. Panorama Suite, on the 20th floor.  This suite was once a revolving restaurant and is now one of the most fabulous penthouse suites in all of Hollywood.  Fit for a star, this suite has vaulted ceilings and an expansive area for entertaining.  The 280-degree panoramic views of Hollywood and the LA skyline from the wall-to-wall floor-to-ceiling windows are breathtaking. 

For those of you wanting to spend the night, we arranged a room block.  The luxury accommodations give the overall feeling of sophistication and serenity while hosting some of the best views in the city.  Depending upon which way your room faces, you could be treated with views of the landmark Hollywood sign, the Capitol Records building, the historical Yamishiro Restaurant, the pool, or the glittering city lights below.  Our room block rates per night are:

Hotel Reservations must be made by Thursday November 2, 2017 to get these discounted rates.  After that date, prices will increase to the Hotel's prevailing rates (currently a Standard room is priced at $319.00 per night.)

[John Smart]

It is with a sad and heavy heart that I share the untimely passing of one of our Viper brothers, John Smart, who was killed in a tragic accident August 17, 2017.

John & his wife Teresa, lived in Oklahoma much of the year, but enjoyed a second residence here in SoCal.  Although they were active members of the OK Viper Club, they were also associate members of our Club for the past three years.

John was a kind, warm-hearted person who was always gracious to everyone he met.  Those who knew him felt like they had been friends for years.  John was always interested in knowing about you and how you were doing.  He had a wonderful sense of humor and was fun to be around.  John was also an extremely generous man and philanthropist who quietly and humbly helped many people.  He was truly one of the good guys!

As you can imagine, Teresa is devastated.  When I spoke with her on Monday she told me "There are no words to express the depth of my sadness but I am so blessed by the incredible love and support of friends and family.  Hugs and kisses to all our Viper friends."  John & Teresa would have celebrated their 35th anniversary this week.

Glenn & I feel blessed to have been close friends with this wonderful man and I know the memory of his unforgettable, one-of-a-kind personality will live on in us forever.  Please keep Teresa and their family in your prayers, they have lost someone truly special.

We're headed to a place everyone should experience at least once... New Orleans, LA! Vipers will invade and take over the city for 4 days of fun! Party Mardi Gras-style, cruise the scenic Gulf Coast in your Viper, tour plantation homes, cruise the Mississippi on a riverboat, drive your Viper on the track, and maybe even bring home a brand new Viper!

While May seems a long way off, it's not too soon to register! This allows people at least 7 months to plan for this fantastic event. Although the attendance size from NVE1 in Detroit has doubled, there's still a limit of 1,000 people in order to fit into some of the venues.  Registering early is encouraged as it not only allows you a discount but also ensures you'll have a spot.  NVE1 sold out in a matter of days and unfortunately many people missed out on the experience.

PRICE:

This event is $895/person which includes lunches, 3 dinners, cool event gift, door prize ticket and more!

SPECIAL RESERVED VIPER PARKING:

As is the case with most big cities, there is limited parking at the hotel. The Hyatt offers valet-only parking for $40/day (=$200 for your 5 day stay). However, we were able to arrange special Viper-only parking where you'll be able to self-park your Viper in a card-key access-only indoor garage, with car wash facilities, VOA-provided security (by actual off-duty police), and Viper-only parking on the top floors. Price is only $99/car for the 5 days (That's less than $20/day- half the price of valet parking!). Passes would be $125 if purchased at the event, so be sure to purchase your parking pass when you register for the event instead! (Regular cars should also purchase a parking pass but will not be allowed to park on the "Viper-only" floors.)

WELCOME DODGE!

We are very excited and pleased to announce that Dodge will be at NVE2 in full force! Dodge will be bringing its latest line-up of new products and running all of the track activities for the event. Buckle-up and hang-on for a hot lap around the NOLA road course in an ACR, and feel the rush of Hellcat on a drag strip. You can even test out your skills on a full-size Viper race simulator for all the glory. Dodge will also be hosting performance seminars in a round-table format where you can rub elbows with factory engineers and brand managers. This is sure to be a great event for with the coolest automotive brand on the planet.
