Dan's cheeks are looking very rosy in that picture.  Could that mean he was being jolly?

Thanks Tony and Sherry for shepparding us through the last two years.  You have made my first experience with the Viper great.

Happy Holidays everyone.

I think Dai owes you one... She had to go get pneumonia instead of going to Monterey!
I'm sure being in a fish tank would have been more fun   ;D

I'm going to put your SC system on my hybrid Lexus  :o I'll let you know how it spins out  ;)

See ya soon

If you cant spin it...I'll do it for you.

I went to the LA auto show and checked out the new Lexus hybrid  LS 600 hl   :o  WOW what a car.

I may have to get one of those.  (can I borrow some money  ;D)

The 400h that we have is unreal... Not only is it very lux, it is also very quick... The 2 electric motors in addition to the gas one, really launch it off the line fast  8)

I can't imagine what Lexus cooked up for the next generation. I did see a TV ad where they had the car parallel park itself... Does the 600hl drive itself  ;)

Random thoughts on the Christmas Party.

This was a very nice venue, hard to do better

Yes, Bruce, my cheeks were rosy.

The wine and the food were very good.

Richard can sing.

That gavel was much smaller than I thought it would be.....

Long drive in a stiffly suspended car, should have taken the regular car.

Next years Christmas party will be in the OC.  We are working on it but really need to know about attendance so we can book the proper size place.  Thoughts? 8)

Thoughts......

Try to set a date early and get it posted so members can plan ahead for it.

Nothing against having a run tied in with the party....I would have loved to do it....but it does make it a bit tough when trying to juggle the calender since it essentially turns into a 2 night deal.

Post some incentives for what we are in store for....awards?...raffles?...sponsor goodies?

Preliminary thoughts on the 2007 Viper Christmas party:

1)  Date is Dec 8, 2007 - so mark your calendars now.

2)  It will be in the OC - very central location for all.

3)  Goodies, yes, I have some nifty Viper goodies already.  Anybody who wants to help can try and get some more.

4)  Likely a bit dressier event than most, business casual or better.  Ladies can wear nice dresses, etc. - they like this.

5)  Should have a band and may do some dancing (not me!)

6)  Will likely be a "strolling buffet" dinner / setting.

7)  May be some awards - we have some ideas.

8)  Other ideas / suggestions are welcome.

9)  It would be EXTREMELY helpful to get an advance idea of the number of attendees as soon as possible as this could be very costly to the club if, for example, we plan for 100 and get only 50.  Please let us know as soon as you can.

Thanks,

Dan 8)

Second that!   8)

Agree that OC will be great, more central location which hopefully will monumentally boost attendance.   ::)

Besides, it seems to me the OC group is the most faithful for event participation.   :)

We would need to stay overnight... A Hilton or something nearby???

We had a great time at this years party & cruise  ;D

BUT a hotel that doesn't have a train crossing at 3 AM would be a + in my book  :o

Oh and free flowing champagne and Kobe steak would be a great addition to any buffet  ;)

Hey Kala,
The Waterfront Hilton in Huntington Beach is a really nice resort

Right next door is the Huntington Beach Hyatt,  also very nice!

Don't know about this Business Casual Stuff :(
Women can always wear what they want (and do anyway :)) I feel like a ball & chain if I have to get "to dressy" my .02 cents

Hey Dave.  No ties for me, never again.  I swore them off after 10 years of wearing suits and ties almost every day.

I'll be wearing slacks and a collared shirt, about like last year's Christmas Party.  That's how I define "business casual".  This should be OK for even you, Dave! 8)
