We have a block of 25 rooms set aside at a great discounted rate from the Fess Parker Resort. These rooms should go fast, so if you want to go then you better book your room as equally fast. Fess Parker will always be known for his acting role as Davy Crockett and Daniel Boone, King of the Wild Frontier wearing his coonskin cap.
After his acting career, he purchased the 23 1/2 acres of beachfront property and built the Fess Parker Double Tree Resort. Shortly after that, he purchased a 715 acre ranch where he started the Fess Parker Winery.
He was larger than life, and at 6'6" easily filled the role as an American Icon. He would frequent his Resort and always took the time to greet the guests and sign autographs. He was truly a gracious host.
It will be great to host our 3 Club event at the Fess Parker Resort and spend some time in a relaxing atmosphere visiting with our extended Viper Family.
Please include Cathy and Rob! >g >u
Paul & Teresa will be there!
Laura and I will be there and stay on Friday night. I will have to look for my coonskin cap! >w
Registration / PayPal link is now up and working !!!
Lance.
Just wanted you to know that I noticed that you were working on this event at 2:30 in the MORNING!
Paul
Cathy and I are planning to attend.
For those of you that haven't stayed at The Fess Parker, it's a nice place at a great location.
Dan
The family and I are all booked for the Rendezvous. The "Club" rate for the event is fantastic! Room rates are normally $400/nt on up during the summer months provided that the hotel is not Sold Out. I would highly recommend that you book soon if you are planning on attending.
Looking forward to it!
Mike, Melanie and the boys
John & Bridgit just made reservations.
All signed up and ready to party ;D
FYI. When I called the hotel to book they said that there was a three night minimum for reservations due to the high season and strong demand. When I mentioned the ViperClub they said we can reserve as many or few nights as we please. Price was a bunch cheaper too.
Secured Parking was also 1/2 price.
Thanks Lance for negotiation of some great rates for us.
Eddie and Michelle will be coming back from Indiana we are moving Madison into her dorm, she is attending I.U. Being the colors for a Hoosier is red and white, I guess the new raffle car is calling our name. I will put a Hoosier license plate frame on it. We will be back Saturday can we do the dinner ?

Hey Randy,
We
may cancel, not sure yet. Will let you know.
Dan
Ken and Lena just signed up and paid. Since we live "up the street", we won't be staying at the Double Tree, but we'll be participating in the events! Looking forward to seeing everyone in our home town (although, we are really 15 minutes up the 101 in Goleta where UCSB and the Santa Barbara Airport are located).
If anyone has any questions about the area, or there are any breakdowns where tools are needed, a garage, a place to park (maybe store your new 2013 Viper until the next event in our area :), etc., we are relatively close by! Feel free to PM me, email, or just give us a call. Lance has our contact info.
Time is running out to sign up for the Reagan Presidential Library tour and banquet ! Deadline to sign up and pay is Friday August 16th !!!
Jennifer and I have paid for the Reagan library.
We aren't staying at the hotel, but plan to attend as much as possible. We'll try to meet there Saturday morning.
Really looking forward to seeing everyone again!
~Jay
Unfortunately something has come up and I have to cancel my Friday night room reservation at the hotel. Before I do so, wanted to to see if anyone still needs a room for that night. The hotel is sold out. Please let me know by tonight either by replying to this post, PM or email. I plan to cancel tomorrow morning if I don't have any takers.
Will still be able to make the dinner Saturday night. See you all then!

Keith...Glad I was able to help you out. See you Saturday!
As Santa Barbara locals, my son and I (Marcus & Aidan) hope to join in during the trip to Solvang to see the cars. If I'm able, I may also try to get down to the Double Tree for Friday's cocktail party as well. As Ken mentioned, if anyone has any questions about the area, I'm happy to help as well. Lance has the info.
Diane & I will be heading out very early Friday morning in case anyone is interested in driving out together.

The Western Zone Rendezvous brought members from Nevada, Northern California, Central California and Southern California together for a great weekend getaway in Santa Barbara.
Over 80 people participated in the event and based on the smiles, everyone had a great time.
I took well over 800 pictures over the 3 day event and have posted a fraction of them up on my website www.kouchicentral.com (http://www.kouchicentral.com)
As always, here are a few of the pictures I took:

What a great way to end the event !
What a great time! Saturday was a long day, but really fun.
Thanks to everyone for all the time and hard work you put into it for our enjoyment.
It was great to meet some norcal members as well. I think it was a great idea to mix us up and force us to meet new people at dinner.
