I am 2980 on my speedometer, at 1.25 years.  Last Viper had 1000 miles per year on it, so I have less than 1 mile per month to keep the same readings.  I guess I can trailer it there and back??  WHat shoud I do, NK BREKER???

You need to get the car out of the garage, quit babying it, and drive it!!  I have 50,200 miles on my '99 RT/10 and 2400 on my '09 ACR.

Anything that needs to be done but can be off 'til next week is a good thing! Work hard this week.

Wonder if Raceyellow Ricardo has planned.  74 from Hemet to Idyllwild down the Mtn to Banning and then Oak Glen is interesting?

Don't know if my trailer will make it through the twisties?

Has Ricardo posted his run from Temecula?

I've heard that if "you" don't drive the Viper the miles don't count, so using that logic I can cruise the SSG for you and you can drive my Viper, that way "you" didn't put the miles on the car  What do ya think? >v

perfect  leave the orange pumpkin here in West LA and I will let you know some time in the future when you can drive the SSG

I should store it for a couple of years!

<m  You need to watch Ferris Buellers Day off to see how this can be done.  After the run, just jack up your Viper, and run it in reverse till the miles go away. It did not work out so well in the movie, but the theory was sound.

Additionally, time spent sliding sideways around mountain curves will not show up on the odometer <2.

Also Nino was over at out house last week, and took home a bunch of beers for the party. They need to be consumed.  <K

See everybody at Nino's and we can make fun of Ruths bad leg. >l

I'll bring some flying Monkeys... <K <K <K <K <K <K

check this out in just 24 hours from visiting Oak Glen and Annies Apple Bakery, this report his the wire

"By Andrew Edwards, Staff Writer
Posted: 08/30/2009 04:30:34 PM PDT

OAK GLEN - Calfire information officer Jason Meyer said fire commanders are evacuating the entire town of Oak Glen.
Oak Glen residents are being advised to head to safety via Oak Glen Road, heading in a southeasterly direction toward the Banning and Beaumont area.

Flames are towering about 100 feet into the air, Meyer said.

Meyer said he has not received information that residents are under a mandatory evacuation order. An evacuation center has not yet been established.

The fire, which has been named the Oak Glen Fire, has spread to more than 200 acres. Meyer said the blaze is burning in the hills south of Oak Glen and Potato Canyon roads in highly-flammable chaparral terrain."

<o Wanted to add my thanks to Nino and Ruth for opening their air conditioned home to us.

Great food, cold drinks, =19 and the chance to drive a 1942 Ford Tractor in the back corral.

Special thanks to Ruth for running the Margaretta Ville bar with cool smoothies and fresh drinks.  <L
Hope all is well with Nino's house, as the fires are closer than comfort.

Thanks to Nino for bringing out his Nitro powered remote control dune buggy.  <2

So we had flying monkeys, out of control R/C cars, a 3 speed 24 hp tractor, a cool swiming pool, neighbor in full size 4 seater dune buggys, a snake named Freddy, goats across the street, and a tour of Nino's fortress of solitude featuring momentos from all 9 (or was it 10) VOI's he has attended.

Are the Viper stop, Annies Apple Bakery, stores and shops still standing in Oak Glen?  Have been trying to find out some information, so far not much in the way of news, so I guess that is good news.
