Is there any word on when this year's Slither is going to take place?
Randy and Diane T. are working on it already. Probably back at Dukes, but a group got together week or so ago to check out other facilities.
This is a well attended, fun and annual event.

I will probably set up a meeting spot for the San Diego group at the rest stop 5 miles North of Oceanside on I-15.
Probably leave about 1hr. 15 minutes before we need to meet in Huntington Beach.
Sunday Morning is usually light traffic until we get into Orange County. We can usually call the group run....the slither before the slither. 8)

The parking fee is $5.00. It's valet, but you park your own car.
Teresa and I are reserved....Actually we are not really reserved, instead kind of unrestraigned, but we have called for a couple seats and a table to eat at. ::)

Come join the Southern California Viper Club on a fun filled day ride along the beautiful California coastline as dozens of Vipers rumble together through popular beach communities. Three separate starting points have been established for each major area, San Diego, Orange County and Los Angeles. All three groups will start early (apprx. 8 a.m.) by gathering simultaneously at their respective meeting points for coffee and such. Then caravanning to the central meeting point at "Duke's" restaurant on the pier in Huntington Beach. We will have secure parking in Valet parking for a fee of $5.00.The front lot parking will be within clear view of the front patio where brunch will be served at apprx. 10:00a.m. After filling our tummies and chatting with fellow club members we will depart. In snake like formation we will cruise along Pacific Coast Highway south toward Dana Point Harbor where we will take a few minutes to stretch our legs and regroup. Then back north on P.C.H. were we will finish at Fashion Island, Newport Beach at apprx. 1:30 p.m. If you get lost the address is 451 Newport Center Drive, Newport Beach, CA 92660. All members and guests are welcome to attend. Just a fun short day ride and a good opportunity to become better acquainted with some of the really great people in this club.There is no cost other than what you spend on brunch $18.95 per plate and valet parking at $5.00 per vehicle.
