Parking lot and location should be more Viper friendly.
Who knows, we may be able to attract enough attention there to start a new Crystal Cove at Fashion Island.

Hey Eric,
Three cars drove down from OC and met up with 8 or 9 of the SD group.  So it was a good turnout.  Some new members and even some of veteran members came out.
It was another beautiful morning as usual in Carlsbad.  Not many exotics other than the Viper gang.  A few Porsche's, 1 Ferrari, 1 Lotus, 0 Lambos 0 Ford GT's.
So we had centerstage as usual 

I took a few pictures....I'll get them processed and posted later.   I'm on the run tonight and tomorrow so it may take a day or two.  Rest assured that this event will continue to be a success.

It looks like the orange county group  WILL be changing the meeting place.  I'll get the specifics for you so you will know where to meet us next month.

Hey Kala,
I'm mailing in my registration form tomorrow.
I'm planning on driving up on Sat. morning.  Heading home Sunday right after breakfast at one of Lori's favorite restaurants up in Monterey.

I really wanted to do a one day Skip Barber driving school at Laguna Seca and was hoping that they offered one on Saturday. 
The 1 day class is scheduled for Friday    which I can't swing.
There is a 2 day class, Saturday/Sunday....  
Guess I'll have to make another trip up in the near future.

I hear that the place formerly known as the Crystal Cove Car Show is now vacant.      You think the Irvine Company would be mad if we started showing up for breakfast on 3rd Sat. mornings?

Well it was a GREAT turnout for the 1st OC monthly meeting.   We had 10 vipers (okay 9 vipers and Bruce's Lexus)
It was great to see a couple of new members coming out and joining in the fun.  That's what it's all about.

Breakfast at Mimi's was good and visiting with others was great.  Exactly what the good Dr. Hemotox prescribed!   I was a little disappointed that the GT and Pamela didn't make it out, but there is always next month.

After breakfast, a few uf us made a run through Cook's Corner  (my first time) which was a nice little cruise. 

All in all it was an ideal morning.

I'll be doing the first portion of the run...but will have to miss the brunch.
My little one is doing her first Hula show at noon on Sunday and I don't want to miss it.

I didn't get to go to either of the events today.  But I was treated to a great Birthday breakfast with my wife and girls.  One doesn't get to celebrate their 39th birthday very often......although this was the 6th time for me
