FCA Chrysler is recalling 43,750 model year 2006 Dodge Viper and Jeep Wrangler and Liberty vehicles manufactured July 1, 2005, to July 31, 2006.

The springs within the clutch pedal position switch that prevents the vehicle from starting unless the clutch pedal is pushed down may break. As a result, the vehicle may not be started when the clutch pedal is pushed down or the engine may crank and start without the clutch pedal being pushed down causing the vehicle to lurch unexpectedly.

An unexpected movement could increase the risk of a crash.

Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will replace the clutch ignition interlock switch, free of charge. Parts are currently unavailable. Owners will be mailed an interim notification beginning in June 2015, and receive a second notification when remedy parts are available.

Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is R13.

General Viper Discussions / DRBIII Scan tool
January 22, 2014, 12:50:59 PM
Does anyone know who would have a DRBIII scan tool to program the tire pressure sensors.
I got new sensors that need to be programmed. I was thinking these would sync right up but I now have the LO TIRE warning on my dash.

Thanks

General Viper Discussions / Rolling Stones
May 14, 2011, 07:30:05 AM
I had a stone/s strike the front fascia, left headlamp, and hood on the 405 fwy. Sepulveda Pass area.
It damaged the paint and in part of the hood is down to the fiberglass. (Vipair). $5600.00 in repairs.
The car is now at Scandinavian Coachcraft auto body for the repairs.
Anyone here have had any work done on their vehicles. What was your experience?
They seem to be very knowledgeable but how is their workmanship.

Thanks

Ok my dearest club members. I have a VCA member out of Georgia wanting to straight up swap his polished Iforged 20s for my 5 spoke chrome plated OEMs. He mentioned I would need a 8mm spacer to clear the brake calipers. Does anyone here have these on their Gen 3 and would I need longer studs. Is this worth it?

Here is the pic of the wheels.

Here are mine.

General Viper Discussions / SS BRAKE LINES
December 19, 2010, 05:30:40 AM
I just ordered a set (front & rear) of Stop-Tech braided brake lines that I'll be installing ASAIGET'EM.  Any tips or tricks to these.
I'm thinking it's pretty much a straight fwd swap. Any shop days in the near future? Have we had any in the past?
