Around 10AM, we'll take a short cruise to World Class Motoring – a car enthusiasts dream. WCM has a beautiful, new showroom now open to the public. Cool enough that Jay Leno has found his way there 3-times since it was opened in December.
About 11:30AM will take another short cruise us to Wood Ranch BBQ for lunch >q

Hi Everyone, Carol and Steven Borecki are going this is by our old stomping grounds. >2 <L
Hey Carol and Steve,
Come to Vegas instead, it will be fun.
Hey guys this will be a fun morning. I have been to the super car sunday event several times. Every time you go there is something new to see. There are always cars ranging from the 50's late 60's early 70' muscle cars to exotics from lamborghini to Farrari's you name it it's there. Let show them how many Vipers there are out there! It would be great to take up a huge area with a bunch of Snakes!
Scott
Too bad there's a conflict with this one as I've never been and wanted to go.
Vegas and Mopars at the Strip will be one heck of a show. Throw in some drag racing for our Viper group, a car show, a cruise, some food and entertainment and this should be a good "long" weekend.
Dan <u
Hey Dan,
This is a recurring monthly event, perhaps we can just reschedule for later in the year to ensure a huge turnout.
Hey Art,
Good idea.
Let's try and do that. It can be really fun to have 30 or 40 Vipers roll in together.
Dan
We did this one a little over a year ago.
I can't remember exactly how many Viper's were there, I'm guessing about 38.
We took up 3 rows of parking. Hemotox brought his Ford GT. A bunch of Ferraris, Lambos and Porsches.
You definitely have to get there early if you want to park together. The entire shopping center parking lot was filled up with cars.
Afterwards there was a run up through the canyon.
Does anyone know what day of the month this falls on? I would like to go to it and check it out but not sure what the normal day is. Thanks...
Hey Thom,
Every Sunday there is a gathering of cars at the Village Coffee Roaster.
But the last Sunday of the month is generally when the exotics show up.
Check this site http://www.socalspeedzone.com/pages/supercarsunday.html (http://www.socalspeedzone.com/pages/supercarsunday.html)
I'm working on a lunch location for after this event. Trying to get an idea of how many people might show up to the event. If you think you want to go please let me know.
Scott
I spoke to world class motoring. If we get a head count they will do a full BBQ Lunch for us. If your interested please let me know so I can get them numbers.
Thanks Scott ^7
Looks like fun. I'll plan to get there early for parking.
Hey Caseyse,
Save us a spot if you can, we'll be coming from South Orange County.
Did you get your car yet?????
Dan

Yes, it finally arrived last week (1-year after placing my order). I can now enjoy some of these nice SoCal Viper events. I'll definitely save a parking spot for you.
- Sean
Thanks.
I just hope the weather cooperates.
We did Dukes this Sunday and it was 96 F (on the sign) outside one of the buildings along PCH in Newport Beach!
Doesn't usually get that hot here.
DC is doing another "Dyno Day" on July 12. Should be fun if you can make it.
Look forward to seeing your car.
Dan
Count me in.
I will go to this one too.
Ben
Please add 1 and 2HOTV10 to the list
Thanks,
Glenn and Steph
Event is know as VCR to the local out here on the west side of LA County. Village Coffee Roasters (VCR) started promoting this car event years ago. It is like Cars and Coffer in Irvine with some restaurants and business in hte area. Last Sunday of the month brings the largest number of cars. If you want prime positioning in the parking lot, you need to arrive before 6:45, but by 7:00 AM there is plenty of parking on the sides, which may be a better area if the club intends to pick-up and leave en mass.
I agree with Hemotox.
If you want to park front and center of Village Coffe Roaster...you need to be there early.
Once everyone is there and walking around, it is difficult to get out of the lot as people are everywhere.
Parking off to one side will make exiting a bit easier.
I would suggest parking on the west side of the lot next to the side walk. It is a perfect position, and tends to be the last part of the lot that fills, yet easy access for everyone and offers an easy exit to the street.

Need a map please >v >v >v It's a Beautiful Thing
OGO O O O
Hey O
Thanks for the reminder...As soon as I have a minute, I'll get with Scott to finalize this event and I'll post details, maps, etc...
We'll also set up the timing so those that don't/can't make the early car show - can go directly to World Class Motoring.
Details to come soon...
PCH Viper and Hemotox,
Both of you have provided great insight, yet there seems to be a big problem...you guys haven't signed up! Get on it gentlemen. <B Or should I know better? <E
<F
I'm pretty sure I'll be able to make it out. >k
So how much are the simulators ? Looks pretty cool.
Looks like more than a set of tires and wheels.
Ok.... a bit pricey......but when you factor in the cost of fuel for track events, wear and tear, tires, etc etc,
it isn't to bad.
Dan should buy 2 or 3 of them and then we can link them to race door to door.
Hey Lance,
If we could raise the money, the club could buy one and use it to train our drivers before they go to the track..... and you have plenty of room for one of these at your shop!
Dan <2
Going to be out of town again for this one. Arturo del Toro will comsume my portion of the petrol.
Hey Eric,
I'll be happy to take the Green Pumpkin to the show for you. >g
Hey Art,
I was planning to drop by EJ's house and have Cathy drive it to the show.
I'll flip you for it. >k
Dan
It's cool Dan, Madam Prez can drive it to the show. >r I guess I'll have to settle for the FGT.
Hey Art,
You could drive it back to EJ's house?
Sounds like a plan >v.
Hemotox,
Make sure the gas tank is full and that the SSG has at least 3 coats of the "Devine" wax on it >w.
Arturo del Toro,
Been working on some new amazing polish that is deeper and more intense than anything else on the market.
Zaino ZFX polish additive, and their products are really awesome!
http://www.zainostore.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=ZFX&Category_Code=Zaino&Product_Count=7
This ZFX application is truly amazing.
Should have 3 coats of this stuff on the SSG before you pick it up. Remember you will be flocked with hotties just about anywhere you park. Be gentle, on the Viper, babes well, since you are engaged no worries mate.
Best
EJ
After you pick the SSG up, keep it for tyhe month untl the next Viper event! <B
Cathy, Dan and I, will take great care of the SSG for you Eric, so what time should we pick it up on the 27th? >g
And where should we pick it up???? >v

I can see it now.
Once you guys pick up the SSG, all club events will be be cancelled till further notice. >l
NORTH SHORE PCH VIPER IS 100% CORRECT, I trust these guys are far as I can drop kick them! >k
Hey, Dan and Cathy need to rattle Bill Bagshaw's chain a little, I saw him at Coogies a month or two back in a new Venom Red SRT10 coupe.
I think we can leave the SSG covered while the rest of the club is at VCR. Arturo del Toro and drive my mini cooper to the meet instead. >t

Well hell, that orange part will make all of the difference!
Hey Guys,
We signed up on June 2nd and our names are still not on the list... are you trying to tell us something? >m
Our snakes want to come out and play too... >j >j
Let us know Scott if there is anything we can do to help you!
Was at Super Car Sunday today, last Sunday of June, in VCR in Calabasas. I arrived at 6:45 and 75% of the parking lot was already full, by 7:15 cars were being diverted to other lots. I think if the So Cal VCA wants some premier parking you need to arrive no later than 6:15 AM, preferably 6:00 AM and have some designated members block some of the parking stalls. Horrendous number of cars there today. BTW, coffee, chocolate and pastries today were marginal at best. There is a bagel shop at the south end with better food.
>r
EJ,
Those of us coming from South OC won't make it there at 6:00 AM. It would be nice to park inside. Can we have some folks hold parking spots for us or is that not "kosher".
Can any other parking arrangements be made?
Thanks,
Dan
completely kosher, I will be in europe but I think if we can get some of the Valley and Ventura west LA club members get there at 6 AM and hold some spots it should not be a problem. The west end of the parking lot next to the street has the best view and does not fill as quickly as the center, which seems to be filled on the more north side of it across from the Village Coffee Roasters with kit cobras. Probably about 10 of them and these guys are there failry early. Just remember if you get there at 7:30 unless you have someone saving some spots you won't be parking anywhere close to the main section. They were parking 1-2 blocks away at 8 AM last Sunday.
I would suggest we wake up OriginalRoot and have him muster some West Side Club Members and some Valley-Ventura Co members to get to VCR early, 6:00-6:15 on the 27th to block off some Viper Club parking. There are a couple of viper owners, one Gen 1 red convertible and another 05-06 Silver SRT10 convertible that are there every week. I believe use to be members of the So Cal VCA, but aren't now, so a little fellowshipping may bring in another member or two back ino the fold. <m
I guess I need to get my but up early to get some spots for us. Anyone else game for meeting me there and holding some spots? I don't know how many spots I can hold on my own.
Scott
I'm in. Looks like fun.
Hi Cathy,
http://we%20will%20attend%20super%20car%20sunday%20and%20also%20attend%20lunch.
Mike & Cheryl Sinkinson
Hey Mike,
How did the hood come out?
Cathy & Dan,
Ruth and I will be there. Should we arrive at 7 am or be there earlier to be sure we get a good parking spot?
Nino
OOOPs O,
Never mind, I just read the previous posts.
Nino
Hey Scott!!!!!
So what time are you planing to get there? Set the time and we will work with you. You are the Event leader.
Thanks Glenn
Is the plan for everyone to meet at 7:00 am, at the Woodland Hills address?
looks like about fifteen vipers attending. Steph and i are planing to get their a lot earlier than 7. if we want to all park together we need some earlybirds to arrive around 6--6:30 to save that many spots.
Glenn
Glen, Good Idea!
If you have a few of those orange cones you can get at OSH, they do quite well in blocking off parking. BEs parking is on the west lot, next to the side walk in the main parking section. That fills last and is an easy out to the street. Have a great time, I will be in London, expecting to fly to Copenhagen for a cruise through the Baltic on Princess.
I will be there about 6:30. (yikes) Anyone who enjoys being the early bird is welcome. People that are coming from OC or far away do not need to be there at that time. I understand it's a huge trek for you to leave so early.
I will do my best to save spots, I have not tried to do this before so I may need to bring some body guards <D
I have some little orange cones and will make up some VCA signs for them. I will be at the far end of the parking lot if you turn in the second entrance to the parking lot before you reach Taco Bell. >u
Scott
I'll be heading up from the OC.
I haven't figured out who all is going but will get on it. I'll likely head out early 5:30 to 5:45 which should get me there 6:45ish
Lance
Hey Lance,
Cathy and I were talking about maybe meeting some folks at Spaghetinis (spelling?) Restaurant and driving up, but we won't be there anywhere near that early.
Heck, we don't normally get to Irvine (a ten minute drive) much before 8:00 AM.
What time does this car show normally end?
Dan
usually over by 9:00 AM or 9:30, don't miss it Dan & Cathy. (http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/mm287/AtomicGT/happydriver.gif)
I think last year when we all went out, I was headed back home by 8:30 or 9.
I'll be at Spaghettini's off Seal Beach Blvd and the 405 at 5:45am and will leave shortly thereafter.
Anyone up that early can cruise up with me.
I think I can make it. I'll confirm soon. Looking forward to it! >g
Tony & Sherrie will attend from Riverside
OK, I'm in! I'll be there by 7 AM. Usually, I'm not even out of bed by this time... with no job and all! Put me down for lunch too. Should be fun. >v
I forget how to get there. What's the address? I am going to try to make it also.
Hey Mark,
Here's the address, hope you can make it I would love to see the ACR again.
23351 Mulholland Drive, Woodland Hills, CA 91364.
It is in Calabasas/Woodland Hills off of the Valley Circle exit off the 101 North - Turn Left
Tony and Sherrie, Good to hear you're attending. >v
Hey Mark - the first post in this topic has links to maps with the locations of our stops:
Car Show
World Class Motoring
Wood Ranch BBQ
Check it out. <I Glad you're going!
Hey Guys...... let me know who's showing up early. I'll try to be there by 6:15AM and reserve some parking spots.
Angel
Looks like we're going to have a ton of Snakes there on Sunday. The show is 7-10 a.m. but people come and go till 11. The group will be heading off about 10:00 a.m. to WCM via Mulholland drive. If you get there early bring some chairs and sun screen.
Lance,
I think the hood came out looking good. My paint shop did a great job blending the paint. The grills were another challenge because one of them was miss coded so I had to ship it back and get the correct grill. X-Vipers has great prices on OEM but their attention to shipping is third world. You'll get great deals but don't be in a hurry. See you Sunday and you can check it out and let me know what you think.
Mike
O Hi Kid's, ... .. . Joel will be there @ 06:00 + or - 30 minutes
>g More than 30 Vipers made it out to Village Coffee Roaster for Super Car Sunday!

Thanks for all who turned out on sunday I hope you had a good time. We had about 40 vipers at the show and 30 at world class motoring.
If you missed it >o. Lance got some great shots on sunday, I guess I need to start doing a better job with mine.

No vipers in this town, in fact I did see one white Shelby GT but nothing else in town!

Thanks Scott for putting together a great event. Eric you missed a good one, but I am sure you had fun.
Lance and Scott, great pics, as usual.
A lot of "off-roading" on the simulator!!!!!!
