I believe it is CW#1.  We are also having a birthday party for Gavin Gear that Sat at my house.  You and any other SOCal members are welcomed to come.  Weather should be decent for this event.  Hope to see you there!

First order of business is to procure a 2010 ACR which I will have modified by Dan at DC over the course of the year. I'm hoping to have all this business done in the next month or two and join all you guys at the track, probably won't make this event but somewhere down the road.Ron]

On another exciting note, I have met with Club Spring Mountain and have the weekend of April 16-17 all set for the Sidewinders!  Dan and I discussed making the event easier to enjoy and we thought the Sidewinders would appreciate a conti breakfast and a nice lunch at the track.  The Club has agreed, so we will get full track use, the breakfast and lunch for $100 per day.   Since it is a Radical Race Weekend, both the 2.7 and 3.1 configs will be ours to enjoy!  The new condo garages are fully framed and sheeted so when the Sidewinders arrive, they will most likely be finished.  Hopefully more wives will come up and enjoy the fabulous amenities!

Did you guys speak to John Morris the owner of Spring Mountain? He used to be a big fan of Viperdays until he got his Radical(s). I instructed him back is '02/'03 at Viperdays, he's a really nice guy and may throw ya some perks at the event.

Hey Dan, I think you can run in the "race" with your ACR the way it is. Unless it's changed I was allowed to run my Gen 2 a few years back with no roll bar. You may wanna check.

BTW, you're right, this event used to sell out fast, 120 cars on a Saturday.

...it's kinda funny, I went up to youtube to look at racetrack video and I entered "Viper ACR at Willow Springs" well there was a lap of me in a borrowed ACR shot from the balcony. But I saw this clip with no names or anything mentioned. Well I watched the driver's line and said "wow this guy knows how to drive". I clocked him on the video timer at about 1:30.

Well at about 5:30 in he pulls into the hot pits, I'm watching and he pulls up to a pop up and I'm standing there Then I jump in the ACR and drive on the track, I'm like WTF is this. Well I remember I let Terry Rossi drive a few laps and he busted a 1:29.3. I didn't know he put a video camera in the car. You wanna know the line watch this clip.

I just ordered a 2009 ACR, should be here in Jan / Feb 09.

I'd like to know the potential of the car so that I can have a goal - not that I'd ever reach it!

Dan, if you don't run White group because of heat soaking ride with me a session, I'll show you a line through 8/9 you never saw before (I think). It's fast and is a "race line" that requires great timing, but if ya hit it, it's a money line  ^2

I spoke to Jonathan and am awaiting a reply, you got the same Oct. 10th track date as me at Buttonwillow. If he shows he will run in Red Race group. You wanna see someone fast.....Terry Rossi will be there in David's '08 coupe and running in the same white run group, I will fight to keep up with him. But he will be faster then me  <D
