Our Holiday Party is set and will be a spectacular setting for us to wrap up 2012 !!!
You will not want to miss this Holiday Party.
Planning for this party has been in the works since February and should be a nice change of venue for us all.
We have rooms blocked out at a great rate and hope you all take advantage of it. >v
Sounds like an evening to be remembered.
Cathy and I are in.
Dan
Payment & reservations made!
This will be lots of fun and we're looking forward to it!

We stayed on the Queen Mary several years ago when it was the host location for the Western Zone Rendezvous the Baxters put on.
At that time I think it was a Hilton or Hyatt. It is a fantastic Art Deco designed ship. The ball rooms were spectacular, and very elegant. It had us envisioning a trip back into time when Crusing was the height of elegance.
The guest rooms are have maintained a period look, and it was a unique experience to stay over night. We enjoyed walking around the perimeter wooden promenade, and always ran into other VCA attendees while sipping a cocktail, watching over the Long Beach skyline.
This is right across the chanel from where the Long Beach Grand Prix runs, which adds to the experience.
Think this is a great choice for a Holiday party, and looking forward to spending the night again on "The Queen"
Awwww... you guys are so nice to book a venue on my commute home from PV! I will drop in right after work.
David & Melissa
Art and Cynthia are in!
This looks like a great evening - count Scott and Diane in!

For those planning on spending the night, I suggest you make your room reservations now. We have already filled all the Deluxe King rooms that were allotted to our Club. LUCKILY it is still early, so when I called in, they were able to give me 4 more King Suites. If we book those right away, they will add more rooms to our block PROVIDED THAT THE ROOMS ARE AVAILABLE. She told me that rooms will start getting scarce as we move thru summer.
If you call reservations and they tell you that no more Deluxe Kings are available, please let me know right away so I can call and TRY to get more rooms added to our block.
Hey Lance,
I just made reservations on a King room and registered through Paypal.
Thanks for making this happen.
Demoe
I made reservations on the Queen Mary today. I asked if they would give the same rate if I stayed Friday night and they said yes; so I made my reservations for Friday - Sunday.
This is going to be a Great Event.
This sounds like a wonderful way to spend some time with Viper friends and have a romantic setting for the whole evening! Count us in! I'm going to make a room reservation now, too ! Pam & Paul
I just made reservations on the Queen Marry. Eddie and Gladys are in. =a <15 >g
Sue and I are in. My first viper event was the zone run to the queen. This is going to be epic. Paid an extra 10 bux for the harbor view. VCA room rates still available. What a deal!!
Randy
Ps Hey Lance, had an issue with paypal years ago and have never looked back. Check is in the mail.
Lance.
Thanks for adding the additional rooms. Teresa and I are booked.
They offered a guaranteed harbor side view (as opposed to the parking lot). That gives you a pretty nice view of the Long Beach Skyline.
Looking forward to a nice night on the Queen.
Mike & Cheryl will be at the Queen to celebrate our club Mele Kalikimaka party with our Ohana.

Hey Mike,
Can you translate for us "mainlanders"?
Dan
Mele Kalikimaka = Merry Christmas.
Ohana = Extended Family
It's an Hawaiian thing...
=14
The Hirko's wil be there. Making reservations now! <L
Lance all the blocked rooms are gone >o are you getting more ?
Eddie and Michelle are signed up and paid, waiting to see if we get more blocked room rates but we will be there. We might have to sleep in the VIPER =27 but still sounds like a great night out with all of you.
On August 10th when I checked, there were 6 rooms left in our block, so there should be rooms available.....for right now.

When I called this morning they said none left. I just called again and booked our room so now there is 3 rooms left, looks like we do not have harbor view but the view is going to be great on the top deck. We have stayed there before with the kids in a suite and it was awesome.
Hey Lance! Mary and I are in! Got the last deluxe room this morning in the block.
Hope you can get more. Checks in the mail to Nino.
This should be great......hurry up San Diego group!
Thanks for the heads up.
I just sent a request to add 5 more rooms to the block.
I'm glad everyone is booking early ! I know that the rrom rate on the block will likely be going up very soon.
you're the best Lance. all booked and paid for. Gonna be way to cool for school. Anthony
Matt and Marcela are registered and paid.
Got the last room on the lastest block of rooms.
There should be 5 king rooms available now !
As the planning for this event continues to move forward, I can tell you that this will be a VERY special evening!!
Come on Lance..."very special" is an understatement.
I'd like to reserve a seat for myself and one guest (Paola Diane)
Hey Albert, you and your date most definitely have a place at our party >v
Miss another event, will be in London and Davos Switzerland that week.
Hey Doc,
Say HI to Freddie for us while you're in "Der Schweitz".
He was a blast to hang around with at VOI 12.
Dan <2
Will do, I have currently been supplying him with Country Music audio tracks to play in his viper in the Alps
Lance,
When are you going to reveal the special treat?
I've been waiting for someone to ask ;)
We will have a very special guest from SRT at our Party. He is the Head of SRT, Viper, Mopar and Motorsports Design.
Mark Trostle will be making a special trip out to So Cal specifically to attend our Holiday Party >v
He will have a special presentation for us that you won't want to miss.
Thank you to everyone who helped in making it possible for this to happen...... Dan, Cathy and ART ! >t
Lance.
Great score getting Mark to be "the keynote on the boat" that evening. >3
Always wonder what kind of rental car someone like that will show up in at the event <m
Please let me know if he will be bringing any banners (inside joke)
Paul
Wow! Folks y'all are really lucky, this is the first time we have had someone from Dodge or SRT come to our party! Finally the SoCal club is getting some recognition for being what we already know and that is the best region in the VCA. =27. This is one party you will not want to miss as I think we might be able to get Mark to show us or at the very least tell us a bit more about the Gen V, so be sure to sign up sooner rather than later.
Lance >s didn't expect you to spill all the beans, but I know that you could hardly contain yourself. Can't wait for our party!
It is hard to believe, but the Party is only 8 weeks away >1 and only 6 weeks left to sign up. November 20th is the deadline !
And YES, I am very excited to have Mark fly out specifically to attend our Party.....but I still have some cool surprises up my sleeve that I'm not going to share till Dec. 1st <11
Please include Cathy and I to the list Lance.
One room left on the Queen Mary....
Don't forget your challenge coins <11

Please tell me I can dress informal!! I do not have any big boy clothes!!! Just a little kid at heart and wardrobe.
Me plus 1 (best wife ever)
Alan B.
Excellent Alan! Look forward to meeting you! About the attire, don't worry just take your dress queues from Lance >v

Does that mean my usual t-shirt attire is approved?
The Queen Mary will transport us all back to a very nostalgic and elegant time period.
Some will dress up (coat & tie), others will be more casual (slacks and button down shirt).
We are always more on the "comfortable" side, as this is a FUN social evening with friends.
I wouldn't come in shorts and t-shirt (well actually I'd like to, but know better). I'll be wearing whatever my wife sets out for me. <t
John & Bridgit are signed up, looking forward to it!
Lance will be in flip flops and speedo, which is Hawian formal >w

I'd suggest pants, a collared shirt and shoes (with socks, Lance!) as a minimum.
Some of us will dress up a bit more than others, so don't sweat this too much.
Dan
This is going to be a fun night, I went with Lance to check out the location and it's very cool. Don't miss this one! >g
The cutoff date to get a room on board the Queen Mary with our special rate is NOVEMBER 8th !
After that date, the rates will go up significantly.
So far, 31 of us will be staying onboard.
Please add June and Rolf to the list. We are looking forward to the party.
Party all night long baby =10
Please add Dan & Mayo to the list. We have reservations at the Queen Mary and the check is in the mail to Nino.
Is there secure parking for Vipers?

We are working on the parking situation now. I'll let everyone know shortly.
Hey Lance,
Can you get me parking spot to plug in the Volt - I'm going to need a charge to get home! <2
Thanks,

The Queen Mary will block off an area for the Vipers in the Valet parking lot. >v
As we have done in the past, our Club will be sponsoring the Orangewood Children's Foundation. This Foundation is a shelter for children that are victims of abuse, neglect or abandonment.
http://orangewoodfoundation.org/ (http://orangewoodfoundation.org/)
Last year our Club members generously purchased and donated over a thousand dollars worth of items for the teenagers at the Orangewood Foundation. >t
I am extremely happy to say that the SRT Team is joining forces with us and we have come up with a very special raffle item to raise money for the Orangewood Children's Foundation.
This 15" x 30" brushed aluminum plate has been inlayed with the SRT logos. Mark Trostle will have the entire SRT team autograph it and it will be raffled off at our Holiday Party >r
Raffle tickets will be sold at the party and all proceeds will go to the Orangewood Children's Foundation.
$10.00 for 1 ticket
$20.00 for 3 tickets
$50.00 for 10 tickets
On behalf of the SoCal Club Officers and the SRT Team, we truly appreciate your support and hope all participate in this effort for the Orangewood Children's Foundation.
Here is a picture of it prior to catching its flight to Detroit for the SRT Team to sign.

THANK YOU to everyone involved in planning this fantastic evening!
So much work goes into putting on events like this... it goes way beyond hours or days, months are necessary. It was very obvious how much time and effort Lance, Lori, the girls and their helpers put into all of the details which made this event so special. The venue was great, the Grand Salon beautiful, food yummy. And the personal centerpieces... how cool was that? The necklace for the women was also a thoughtful touch! Mine will be worn proudly and treasured always! We were fortunate to have Marv & Mark attend, and learn about the development of the Gen 5. And lets not forget the ukelele Lance created... OMG, words cannot express how truly spectacular that piece is!!! Lance, you are a true artist and the high bid winner is a very lucky person indeed! You never cease to amaze everyone!
Thank you again for this fun and memorable event! Respect and hats off to Lance & his family!
