Title: Paul Walker dead at 40

Looks like he was a passenger in a Carrera GT.  Hard to hear about all auto accidents like this.

I had met Paul several times when I was with the Mopar drift team, he was close to one of our drivers. very personable fellow, loved cars and acting. I can feel for his family and 15 year old daughter.

Things like this remind us how dangerous a car can be and that the track is the best place to test your driving skills.

One thing this brings to mind is your tires. Paul's accident happened just about a block from where they left. Tires need heat for traction, always remember that cold tires are dangerous. I don't know how many times I have had a customer leave the house and then jump on the throttle a few block later to get on the freeway, only to end up in the weeds.

Good advice Dan. I thought the same thing when I heard about this. Cold tires will bite you every time.
