I'll be there with the for sale sign in the window  <11

Refreshing to see something close to home! I may bring my gym bag and get a workout in afterwards right down the street, ha.

There should be 4-5 cars coming up together.

Hey Dan, count me in for willow springs and this.

I am not sure about button willow since it is a lot further for me. Plus, with the time spacing, WS and Fontana should give me a good "break" in between.

Lance, I'll be there for this.

I'm going to try and drag a bunch of SD members up also!

This run can't be more technical than the mt baldy road, right?  <11

Up in the mountains again, eh? Now I gotta see if there are any good hiking trails or summits near, haha.

I should be good for this. Though, that's a lot of miles for me  >m

Dan, I should be able to make both October events.

I am sure I will email you plenty of questions between now and October :)

I appreciate all the advice you have given to me. And if there are any others that want to get track experience like me, these events should be very good learning experiences.

Agree, thanks for sharing.

That's the only way I'll every get a look at that sign!

Glad you didn't get altitude sickness during your hike.  Some folks do.

Dan

Thanks Dan. 10k isn't too much of a problem for me, although, I did get a very small cough while up at the summit which is the early stages of your body saying it wants more oxygen.

There's a 14,000 summit in Yosemite I want to try before the year is out. That will be fun  >g

Another great cruise! Thanks for organizing this Lance.

I headed to the visitors center after lunch to get a parking pass for the hike up to the summit.

Bottom of the chair lift

Getting higher

Been hiking for about an hour, up up we go!

Yep, that is the trail :)

2 hours and 5 bottles of gatorade later, the summit is reached!

I will be in Cleveland Ohio during this :(

I am definately in for this.

FYI, I am thinking about hiking up to the summit after lunch if anyone is interested. I still need to research the trails better, but it looks like a 3 hour hike up, and roughly 1.5 down assuming the ski lifts are open to ride for a "shortcut".

Lance, as stated before, thank you so much for the hard work needed to organize this event.

Every single SoCal event I have been to since I moved out west has been an absolute blast. It is awesome to be in a region of great people who are all very active in the club.

I came from one of the most active regions in the country. I can say with confidence that I am having more fun as a viper owner now in SoCal than ever before.

Anyone coming up from SD want to meet on I5 say, by Carlsbad?

Hey Lance, I think you said at the K&N event that this was almost borderline if we will have the cars needed to reserve half of the corral.

Any updates? If we don't have a special spot to park, I may just bring my DD since we aren't cruising or anything.
