If you have not yet realized, SoCalViper.org has switched servers and now hosted under the main domain of www.SoCalViper.com
What this means:
- All our domains, SoCalViper.org, SoCalViper.net, and SoCalViper.com will be directed to SoCalViper.com
- We now have a very healthy 100GB of storage use which should satisfy all your picture posting needs <4
- Forum is now more Pleasant on the eye and even more Viper-like.
Cathy and Albert are now working on the new gallery, stay tuned!

My guess is that Cathy and Albert are hard at work trying to get everything moved over and operational. Knowing what is involved, I'd say it may take a while to get all the bugs out.

Hey Albert / Cathy,
Not a big issue....but when I click on "Show unread posts since last visit." next to my avatar, it always shows no new posts.
But if I click on "Show new replies to your posts. " then it lists all the threads with new posts.
Not sure what the difference between the 2 options are, but don't we really only need one option which would list all the threads with new posts since our last visit?
Other than that, it appears that ALL sections/options are up and running without flaws which is awesome ^2 Great Job !

Humm, not sure why it would do that, give the system one week to register the new activity and I'm sure it will be fixed. Near the bottom under the "Forum Stats" there is a link titled "View the most recent posts on the forum." and that should work just fine

I've been having some issues trying to get pictures posted.
As you know I host the pictures on my site and then post them on the forums here by linking them in a thread.
I used to be able to string as many pictures as I wanted together in a single post.
At this point, I can only post a couple of pictures at a time and lately I've been getting the following error:
Database Error: Lost connection to MySQL server during query

How many kb are the pictures you are uploading?
I've tried it with 100kb pictures and it still gives me an error.
I just posted above with no pictures attached and it came back the first time with an error.....
something about session timed out. I hit refresh and tried it again and it went through.
Here is one of Daves better pictures !
picture size is 699kb
one picture upload works.
test with 2 pictures........ 100 kb and 200 kb

I see that "Dave" is loading smaller file sizes, largest I saw was 63kb... maybe the 1000k needs to the total of all photos uploaded?

Yeah, near as I can tell at this point, the 1000kb is the maximum total allowed per upload.
Cathy / Albert, can we get that restriction changed to allow a larger upload......10,000 kb or larger.

I would have thought 10 photos @ 100k would work... It wouldn't work until I really cut the rez.
Also I couldn't get even the smaller file sizes to work with the "Other Attachments" feature.
Cathy / Albert... Lance really needs 1GB per transfer... >2 His BD is coming up in the future, maybe we can get close to his wishes???
