It was great seeing everyone today and meeting new faces.  Thom, I know it was a long haul from Vandenberg AFB but I'm glad you made it.

Curtis, all the best with your deployment - looking forward to seeing you back on the runs with us as soon as you return.  Do you know what your mailing address will be, if so or when you do have it, can you get it to me?  I'll mail you the club's magazines as they become available.

SUE AND RANDY BEGIN - THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! ^9 ^9 ^9 for opening your home and providing lunch for the group! It was not only very generous and kind of you, the food was darn good!

OVERHAULN' CHIP FOOSE IS LETTING US COME BACK!

Last year member Lance Kouchi strolled in to Chip Foose's place and said he thought the Viper Club would like to meet him and tour his facility.  We did, it was great, and we're invited back!

This is a FRIDAY event... We're scheduled to be at Foose Design in Huntington Beach at 12:00 Noon.  After the visit, we'll caravan to Lance's home, also in Huntington Beach, where a Late Lunch or Early Dinner will be provided.  This event won't cost you anything - just bring your smiling face AND your Viper of course   ;D.

This event falls at lunch hour - so plan accordingly (FYI there is a little sandwich shop next door to Foose Design.)

8th Annual Cruisin' For A Cure

Cruisin' For A Cure is the world's largest one-day car show dedicated to helping find a cure for Prostate Cancer.

All of your entry fee goes directly to the UCLA Jonsson Cancer Center for prostate cancer research... not a penny goes to a car club, administration, or individuals!

Show is limited to first 3,400 entries!  Last year was a sell-out and cars were turned away.

Orange County Fair & Expo Center, Costa Mesa CA
Car Show 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Gates open to participants at 4:30AM
www.curisinforacure.com

Open to all rods, customs, muscle & classic cars, Vipers, Corvettes, trucks, specialty vehicles, and PT Cruisers.

The plan is to meet at the Starbucks on the northeast corner of Fairview and Baker at 6:00 am.  We can get coffee and then head over to the OC Fairgrounds at 6:30am as a group.

My understanding is that they have blocked out 14 spots for the SoCal Viper club....but in years past the Prowler club has so many cars that they take our spots as well....  Whut?! >1

If you have any questions, please contact Lance Kouchi at: [email protected].

Hey Dave,

Absolutely there's a place set up - it would be a shocker for the restaurant if we showed up 70 strong  :o

We have the patio at Champs...

Hey guys,

The map to Coogies is in the first post of this thread - I changed it to "bright blue" so it's easier to find... ;)

Also, if meeting on March 1st this month works for you guys, go for it!

To all interested in attending this event:

I believe this is like the Western Rendezvous held a couple of years back - You'll need to stay at the specified hotel as you will be bused to and from the airfield.  I'd call VCA headquarters with any questions.

The deadline for registration is Wednesday, February 28, 2007. Please fax the registration form to (248) 553-2138.
Your hotel reservation must be made separately with the Sheraton Crescent Hotel in Phoenix, AZ. Please contact them directly at (800) 325-3535. Make sure you tell them you are with the Viper Club to receive the special discounted rate of $169 per night, plus tax. All room reservations must be made by Friday, February 23, 2007.
Any questions? Call Viper Headquarters at 1-800-998-1110.

Registration from is attached to the first thread of this post...

Hey Phil, Sorry to say that there is not a breakfast place at the OC meet spot - Shady Canyon Starbucks - just Starbuck's yummies...

And John, will you be joining us on Saturday?
#254
Hey guys,

There just might be a place next to Starbucks that offers breakfast.  I'll swing by today and find out.

The OC meeting place is Starbucks off Sand Canyon/Shady Canyon...
