Convertible Vipers needed for Subway 500 at PIR in Phoenix AZ 4/4/12

Hey all you Viper convertibles !!!
I just got a message from our National VCA President.  They are looking for Gen 3/4 convertibles to run parade laps at the Subway 500 on March 4th. Convertibles are needed to drive the Nascar Drivers around the track prior to the start of the race.  Please respond right away if you can make this event.  They need 43 convertibles for this.

Hello all,
I just got the latest updates on this from JRT.  They have been working with NASCAR on this and answers have been slow coming.  I expressed concern initially at the very short notice time and that more details were needed asap, like where the Vipers would park, etc.

Finally got the full Sunday package info a few minute ago:
One infield parking pass per Viper
Two pit passes per Viper
Two grandstand seats per Viper
**Maybe a hospitality bus by Dodge in the infield grilling and providing food**Still waiting for confirmation on that one.

?? Is there any way you can get a fairly accurate count of how many will participate in this given the package and date?  Really need that number before the end of Wednesday if at all possible.

I am frustrated by several things in how this has come down but if we can pull it together for the Vipers to have some fun let's give it a shot.


If the numbers are too low, however, it may not happen at all.

(one other wrinkle is that NASCAR "may" insist on current cars which = no gen 1 Vipers.  I told them that would just kill things and they are seeking an exception)
