Hey Guys,

Speed Ventures will be running the Big Track at Willow Springs Thursday May 31, Friday June 1 and Saturday June 2.  See their website for more info or to sign up:  http://www.speedventures.com/events/eventdetail.aspx?id=396

As many of us will be driving Laguna Seca at the end of June, this would be a good "refresher" weekend.

As usual, Speed Ventures has run groups available for all experience levels and instruction is available.

Good weekend for all as the cars ran well and we managed to keep the shiny side up.

Temps were about 100 F on Friday, cooled to 93 F on Saturday.

Track temps (asphalt) were about 140 - 150 F as it was sunny.  This is a bit warm.

Speed Ventures let us run in shorts and T-shirts, which was helpful.

Had a guy go off turn 9 in front of me to the left who stayed in the throttle and came back across the track right in front of me.  Fortunately, I was able to avoid him.  You should see the video.
