Congratulations and thanks also to Dan & Cathy who did a terrific job coordinating the factory tour, the lunch, followed by the Saleen Boutique visit.

Fantastic to see so many Vipers, their owners and friends assembled in one place.

I bet Steve Saleen must have said to himself: If only all of these cars out in my front parking lot were built here, with my name on them.....

Great attendance to this event.

Any of us who have friends with Vipers, we should make sure that they will become VCA club members if they are not already.

Invite your Viper non-member friends to some of our cool events, so that they will be motivated to join the Club and participate in even more events.

After checking the photos (I took too many photos too Lance), I think we might do a T-shirt that reads something like this:

"Porsches for breakfast

Ferraris for lunch

Corvettes for dinner

Saleens for desert"

What do you guys think?

Also, hey Joel, I wasn't kididng, I would really like a CD from you of the Grassroots songs.  No kidding.  You have no idea how many good memories are linked to your music.  Please send one to me if possible.  We'll put it in the SRT and cruise to it.

FYI, I'll be sending a thank you letter to Saleen for the tour.

Is this something we'd like to do again next year?  Maybe add a short "run"?

Any other ideas for something similar?

Hi Dan, I was also planning on sending a thank you letter to Saleen with a small package (CD & 20''x30'' poster of possibly group shot at Saleen) If you have a large picture of the group shot, email it to me and I can print it and have it shipped to your address for sending to Saleen.

We'll need a warm, dry day for traction.

Your stomach should be fairly empty (no way right after lunch).
