Calling all the ACR owners. If you have the stock ACR KW shocks. (2008-2010) and you drive it on the street then you know the ride can be somewhat harsh. If you do any freeway driving at all you know there is always a chance you can hit your head on the roof  ^8 if you hit the right bump. not good!
Dan Everts has recommended changing the rear springs out and making them a bit softer. Dan as well as Lance have both done this on their ACR's and the ride is noticeably different and better.
If your interested I am planing to put together a group order for these so we can try to get a group discount.
Please let me know if your interested in getting a pair.

We could do a "group" spring change day at Lance's place .....

I'm interested. Yeah, those things ride so stiff on the street!
You only do the rears?

Are they similar to what's used on the non-ACR with aero package?

Ben,
My understanding is the rears only. It's a cheap fix as the springs are around $90 each. Don't know about the other springs, Dan might.

I only do the rear springs and it makes the ride soooo much nicer for the street.  Takes about 90 minutes to change out both sides.

Guys,

OE front springs in the ACR are pretty light, 514 lbs as I recall, so no need to change them.

FYI, I run 8-inch 500 front, 8-inch 800 rear springs in Cathy's white car and in my black car with the Moton Club Sports and the street ride is good.

Thanks Dan, I'll give you a call before we order to make sure we have done everything correctly, and get the right springs. >v

Have found the ACR suspension (2008-2010) is over sprung and under dampened in the rear. This can cause the car to unstable in bumpy situations. If a better shock is not in your budget, then a rear spring change is highly recommended.
