Bowl and BBQ - February 27th

Club Member Anthony & Wanda Matranga have graciously offered to host another great event for the SoCal Club members on SUNDAY February 27th. So pull your bowling balls out of the attic, make sure your VCA Membership has been renewed and get ready to blast the King Pin.

LA, OC and SD areas will gather and head to the first meet point which will be the Chevron off the 91 fwy and La Sierra Ave. All groups should plan on arriving at the Chevron at 8:45am and we will leave at 9:00 am.

We will caravan out the 91 fwy to the 60 fwy to the 10 fwy and exit at Cook street. We will meet the Palm Desert members and grab something to eat at Applebee's at 10:00.

We will leave Applebee's at 11:30 and make the short ride to Fantasy Springs Casino and Bowling where we will
bowl from Noon to 2:00
Fantasy Springs Casino 84-245 Indio Springs Parkway Indio CA

After bowling, we'll head back to Palm Desert to Villa Matranga where the club will host a great meal.

Question for you all......
This event is in conflict with a track event at Auto Club Speedway.

We have the option of moving this run to Sunday 2/27.

Would this work out better?

As it turns out....we have no choice.
Anthony called the Bowling Alley and they have League bowling on Saturday. So we will be Bowling on SUNDAY.

Ruth and Nino will be there! I have bowling been once in the last 20 years, which was at the last time Anthony set this up. My only hope is that I can get at least one score over 80.
